Benihana, Concord CA

Food is fresh, amazing, and such an entertaining experience. Havent been to such a great restaurant in many years. Our food was cooked at the table by an experienced multi skilled chef. Would recommend this place for a fabulous food extravaganza. Everything is amazing.

Consistently good food and through reservations I've never had to wait very long. 1 star reduction for raising their cheap chicken option to $25. Seriously there should be some meal here that doesn't result in a $100 check for two people.

Update: Very angry about the 45-minute take out estimate keeping us waiting over 90 minutes. In fact I'm still waiting. I don't know what the excuses are for the delay but obviously it's not seating issues.

Update: Now waiting almost 2 hours. We're done here, never again.

Had to be one of my worst dining experiences I’ve ever had ordered my food two hours later it was still not ready horrible disorganization and management I used to go to the one in Sacramento and that one got closed down to I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens here to such a shame for such good food

I ate the food from here and got a stomachache and then got diarrhea. And this was 30 seconds after I finished eating my food. Now since we can’t dine in, to me that is probably why the food doesn’t have as much quality if we were to eat in and not get it to go. But this is just my opinion. Overall, I won’t be wanting to come back here for a while.

I was not impressed.the food was mediocre and so was the chef. Their prices are expensive. It costs $36 for Punchbowl cocktail that was mainly fruit. You couldn't even taste the alcohol. Rip off!

Amazing food, amazing experience! My husband and I went on a date enjoyed our selves so much we returned the following week with our children. The manager was so attentive to our 3,5 and 7yr old attempting to use chop sticks that he brang their own chopsticks in training sets, to take home. Too cool! Guess what the all 3 learned how to use chopsticks and are chop stick pros. Lol. Most definitely returning happy customers.

We had a lot of fun at Benihana. It's one of those restaurants we continue to go to year after year. The chef put on a fun show and was very entertaining. The food was delicious as always. Only complaint I had was that I ordered a russian mule and when it arrived it seemed to be 3/4 full. I brought it to the attention to the waiter and she fixed it ASAP. Like I said, this restaurant is really unique to the area and recommend it.

Had a nice dinner celebrating my fathers 88th birthday. He had a great time watching the chef. Food is decent and service was very attentive to our needs.

Waited for 45 mins after we ordered and the manager said we still had a 10 min wait before our order would be ready WOW then when our order came it was not even close to being right. Sorry were out of this hell hole

The cooks are very good at their craft and put on a great show, however, the very loud atmosphere makes it difficult to talk to the person next to you.

DELICIOUS food, friendly staff, and the chefs seem to have better experience with the "show" aspect than other teppanyaki restaurants! What more can you ask for?

Dam they charging for mustard sauce with a order? And the container is smaller than before.guess i will be going to Sacramento bh for now on.its seems concord bh is downsizing!

Love the food but the service is horrible, made reservation and once I got there my reservation was never found, had to wait over an hour for them to find a spot for my family to seat down and eat, not going back anytime soon if I go back at all

One hour wait past reservation time? !? ! Hostess was rude and lied about wait times. Can't rate the food as we left with without eating. I won't return.

First time going here on vacation. Worst Temp in yaki place I have every been to. The service was great but the flavor of the food was the worst I have ever had. I dont know how you mess up a filet mignon but ya total garbage.

Waiting is horrible we waited 3 hours. Efore we were actually seated, I understand we were walk-ins but still. On top of that we asked for a refill 2 times before actually getting it. And it was also in a very reasonable time range once when we got out salad and once before the main course, but over all it was still a beautiful presentation of benihana's cooking in front of the customer presentation

My family to me for fathers Day even though they making a particular appointment in time they overbooked the place took me an hour and a half just to sit down on my table I'm enjoying my day regardless what happened I'm enjoy the food about the scheduling on time was messed up

Food was OK, chef was good and service was good. Men's room was filthy overflowing urinal, broken stall door, water/urine on floor. Not a good way to end our visit.
