Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill reviews
35This place is fantastic! The seafood is so fresh and well prepared! There is always a line out the door! Everything I’ve had from here is so good, if you’re in San Diego this is a must stop!
Very organized by the staff and hostesses. Menus handed out in line during your wait, by the time you've ordered your table is ready for you, and the food doesn't take long. Food is awesome!
Excellent choice of fresh fish cooked several different ways and in plate, salad or taco form. You have to try it.
Excellent fish tacos, plates, and sandwiches. Large selection of fresh fish choices. Clam chowder, fries and onion rings are great sides. Craft Beer and wine served. Inside or patio dining.
Plain and simple best fish in San Diego. They lose a star because the place is always crazy. Line out the door. This wouldn't automatically lose the star, but the last time I was there the folks taking orders didn't really seem in any hurry. Get that worked out and you have a 5 star establishment.
Wow! Everything we ordered was delicious! Fun atmosphere and amazing food. We went back the next night.
Small quant restaurant. Big line. Order then sit down. Good food. Mostly fish. Both the lobster bisque and clam chowder are good. Garlic bread is great for dipping. Kids menu available. Fish for sushi is fresh.
This is ultimately one of the best casual seafood spots. The portion of fish in the taco is generous, as well as grilled to perfection. Seating is limited and lines form quickly so you'll want to allow for extra time before you can enjoy this beautiful fresh fish. Or order it to go. Either way you'll be hooked.
Love the wasabi crusted seared ahi sandwich on toasted bolillo roll. Only thing is it takes while. Long line and the wait for food is long too. It’s worth the wait but not all the time
Be prepared to wait in a huge line. Very fresh, delicious food. I don't recommend the lobster bisque, too rich and not very flavorful, but the shrimp & crab cocktail and fish & chips were amazing!
Love this place! Come early and you won't have a wait. (The line gos out the door!) Parking is tough! There is a lot across from El Indio which is a half a block away.
Excellent lobster tacos, the best I've ever had. Chunky pieces of lobster with perfect breading - a must try dish!
Nice little seafood market restaurant in downtown SD! We had the yellow tail salad and the lobster bisque bread bowl and they were both delicious! There is limited parking, but if you come early before 4pm during the week you will be ok. Prices are really affordable as well. We will be back! Highly recommended.
Amazing Food! Dont let the line scare you, it moves quicker than you expect. Scallops were the best I've ever tasted! We ate here the 1st night of our vacay and returned the 2nd night. Seriously fresh!
Hands down freshest fish in town! I recommend the blackened swordfish, deep fried lobster tacos, and you can't miss their waffle fries (these are a must)!
