Bru's Wiffle is a gem. While the space may be small, the food and service are wonderful. Even on a busy Sunday morning we were able to get seated quickly and enjoy two remarkable waffles - red velvet and churro - delicious!

The food is good, and they have a nice variety of breakfast/brunch dishes. There is often a bit of a wait, though, and sometimes correspondingly slow service.

Specializing in waffles & chicken, with lots of different combinations, like the goat cheese & honey dish I had. And the waitstaff is super, some of the nicest and most accommodating I've ever known.

Very hearty food, I enjoy all the different combinations of textures and flavors of my smoked salmon waffle. My only complaint is that the waffles were a bit soggy, and the salmon were a bit salty. However, the flavor combination of the salmon, waffle, eggs, cheese and avocado was pretty great.

I liked the avocado fries and the chicken as well. Very very crunchy!

It's a bit pricey but the mango chicken on top of a waffle is the most delicious thing I've tried here and there is also one with a green salsa that is sooooo good! Wish the parking wasn't such a hassle though.

So good! They have a bunch of different kinds of breakfast items, some that you wouldn't think of yourself but are amazing. The staff is also very friendly. You do have to sign up on a clipboard toed around a tree in order to get a table.kinda weird, but adds to it's charm

They're more well-known for excellent service. The ex benedict with chicken was a little dry. But very tasty. Will I be back? If I am in the area certainly.

Great service, the waffles were a little too crunchy for my liking, and the chicken was slightly overcooked and not very tender. But the selection of sauces you get on the side is really good. I loved trying lots of different flavour combos. Great service though, and a really nice atmosphere.

They work miracles with their chicken. I've yet to have a piece of fried chicken as juicy and delicious as from Bru's. Every one of their chicken and waffles is amazing but I have to lean towards the Huevos Rancheros chicken and waffle because of the great balance of salty and sweet. Their bubbly brunch cocktails are delicious too! Worth the wait, definitely come here if you're in Santa Monica.

This place has amazing food choices. I love it. The meals are very filling as well. Great drinks. They have salads, lettuce wraps, waffles (gluten free option is avail), hot drinks, freshly squeezed drinks, breakfast items. Can't go wrong here.

Excellent service, relaxed but cavernous atmosphere and well priced burgers and salads and one outstanding Turkish pizza besides the waffles.

Glutenfree (and regular) waffles of all types. I would go more 'simple' than the others with the goat cheese and honey.

The service was the absolute worst. Came here on a Saturday morning with a party of five. We place our name of the list and waited. We were the next party of 5 on the list when they gave the table to a party of 7 who placed their name of the list after us.

When I asked the hostess/waitress she didn't even apologize just said, "it's very hectic. " Okay. I get that it's busy but what happen to chronological order?

Good thing we had been waiting for a while outside and looked at the menu because when we were finally seated, no one gave us menus to review. After we placed our order we watched as tables who were seated after us were given their beverages while we waited and watched.

When we asked to speak with the manager he immediately brought one cup of water for our party of five.

Keep in mind we have an 8 year old and a 10 year old with us who have patiently waited to be seated, served and at least given a beverage.

The food came and it was good. Unfortunately the experience was tarnished by the terrible customer service.

I understand Saturday mornings are busy - heck I'm from San Francisco where the standard is waiting for hours for brunch on a weekend morning but there is no reason why the only excuse you have for a poor service is "its hectic" suffices.

Though the food is alright, I won't be coming back.
