Candlewood Suites Silicon Valley/San Jose reviews
37I enjoyed my very short stay here for a professional meeting. They let me check in way early in the morning because I needed to refresh and change before my job talk at Santa Clara U. I hope to come back.all was clean and pleasant.
Exceptional location, accessible public transport, opposite to Santa Clara University, really nice. Big rooms, support staff is nice as well.
Very nice place. Great location near Santa Clara University. The suites are fully stocked with anything you would need got an extended stay. Clean withe a pleasant staff.
Ok, so I admit - I wasn't sure about this in the beginning. I am in town for a seminar and that place was booked. But this place is TERRIFFIC! I used to travel quite a bit and this was the best welcome ever. Great room great staff and I only just got here. THANKS CANDLEWOOD! Give these folks a raise!
Of all of the places I've stayed in the Bay Area, this place has the most consistent pricing. The rates at most the chain hotlels go up and down like yo-yo's. I've seen rates at a nearby Holiday Inn Express, range between $115/night to over $300/night, which is ridiculous. While not cheap, I can count on staying at Candlewood Suites for about $220/night, regardless of what the other chains are charging. For the price you get a large comfortable kitchen suite. The location is convenient to both Sunnyvale and Mountain View as well as San Jose.
The staff at this hotel are very friendly. My room was clean and I didn't experience any issues with noise. All rooms have a kitchen in addition to all the usual amenities. I'm likely to book here whenever I have business in the area.
Really bad experience. First room with noisy toilet, second room no water in the shower. To top it off, they cannot change the room again because they cannot reach a manager.
Nice hotel in Santa Clara all you need as a traveller is nearby to this place. I stayed for a month make sure your room is not next to railway track its disturbing at night.
Friendly staff, rooms are great except my carpet was torn in multiple places and the AC had an off smell to it when it kicked on for a brief minute. Internet is super fast which was a plus so I could work from my room.
Good place to stay with awesome facilities. They don't provide breakfast but other facilities are very good.
The front desk folks were super sweet, couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating, and ensured we were all set as up to our rooms quickly. The rooms are more than adequate, clean, quiet, and plenty of room. I will stay here again if I'm ever in town in the future.
It's located right next to the San Jose airport but surprisingly there was no noise disturbance from the airplanes at all. It's got comfortable rooms and a pretty neat cozy gym. It's around an hour away from Downtown SF but overall I would recommend staying here.
The laundromat has new washers and is top notch. The room is large and staff is very nice. Overall great place to stay.
Room was well kept. Close to a Starbucks and bagel shop. One of the better gyms I've seen at a hotel. I would recommend staying there.
Room was in great shape, clean, and felt well maintained. Options for borrowing movies or board games are great.
It was so nice to be able to bring a cooler and have our meals there at the hotel. My room was a studio and it was awesome. I would love to see a one bedroom set up.
Clean rooms, comfy beds, and very friendly staff. Got to spin a wheel for free points or a snack which was fun and different.
