21 Honestly this place sounds like the stuff of nightmares. I dropped a sick friend off here this evening, and he called me 7 hours later because he was left hooked up to an IV in a cold room— so he couldn’t move — and the nurses and staff ignored his cries of “help” for over an hour. He wanted me to call the front desk to see if he could get help since no one came in to check on him or respond to his calls (call button broken and clearly just ignored his cries)
Additionally he was prescribed a medication he was allergic to. The doctor did not ask his allergies.
Go anywhere else if you’re ill, this does not seem like it’s the place. It broke my heart to hear about the care my friend received here — it sounded incredibly inhumane.
Updated: Doctor’s name was Zaza Uziyelovich Atanelov. My friend left worse off than he came after many hours and received abysmal care. Thank you Cedars Sinai team for reporting this to your leadership.
