Food was awesome! The curry cauliflower "wings" were a favorite among our group. The pretzel was good and those who ate the hot dogs loved them! I had the schnitzel and was very happy with it. They have some good beers in very large glasses, as well!

Small but open outdoor seating with ping pong, Jenga, and cornhole. Theres a decent beer selection and a happy hour, plus friendly staff and dogs are allowed on leash. Didn't try the food, but it looked tasty coming out of the kitchen.

This is an amazing place for German beers and snack foods. Their pretzels are something else, for real.

The beer selection here is great. I always get the stout and it never disappoints. They also have a variety of beers to choose from and they have good food as well. My partner and I come here often even in the winter time because they have outside heaters. In addition, they have a pretty patio with a variety of games like jenga and cornhole. Overall, I highly recommend taking some friends to this place for a beer.

I went to there octoberfest celebration where I had a great time! They have a wide selection of beers, and delicious pretzels. It is a good beer garden to hang out with friends, drink beer, and have a great time!

Best spot in town for authentic German style food and beers! This place is the reason I moved to Sacramento! No joke. Awesome atmosphere, great food/drink, great staff!

Popped in on our Sac Brew Bike Tour. Place was popping and everyone having fun. Our group of 16 ordered German Beers and enjoyed the environment. Want to go back and spend more time soon. Great place, games to play and just an overall relaxed place. Everyone loved the beer of course!

I really enjoyed the beer and food. Although you have little interaction with the staff, they we're kind and helpful when you try to pick from the list of beers. Only thing that bothered me was the amount of dust that got kicked up when hanging out. This probably comes with the territory. I believe they have a misting system setup for those hot days. Dress casual and bring clothes you won't mind getting a tad dirty. Would recommend!

It is like a backyard pub with a German feel. Mist sprayers are all around making the outdoor experience very nice. Beer is on tap. Kid friendly environment. Fun place.

I really like this spot. Plenty of outdoor seating and traditional German pub food. Great selection of hard to find German and American beers. I had a really awesome blackberry goze! Wednesday nights are live music and you can bring your dog. Because dogs love beer too!

This place was wonderful! My husband and I lived in Germany for a year and Der Biergarten took us back! A WONDERFUL selection of beers on tap for very reasonable prices, and the food we got was great! DEFINITELY get the pretzel with mustard and cheese!

Great outdoor beer garden. Fun atmosphere! There is cornhole and ping pong if you are looking for a fun activity. Dogs are welcome. Their eats are high end pub food at a great price. If you are interested in trying something new, ask for their starburst.

If you like enormous jugs of beer and sausage then this is the place for you. Outside communal bench seating makes this a great place to meet friends in a super-informal setting. Great mid-town location.
