Bought a 2020 Forester here and have had it serviced several times, including having a factory-defective part replaced and have always had a good experience. Jorge Valle and the team provide honest recommendations and good service.
Took an hour to get wiper blades and a few other parts (most had to be ordered), but it was the wiper blades that took all the time. I could have gone to Pep Boys and Autozone and O'Reilly's and gotten a blade from each of them in less time.
Fantastic service! Jim Chamberlain took great care of me and gave me honest, patient feedback throughout the process. He even went above and beyond helping me return my rental so I would not have to take an Uber back to the dealership. He was first class in service and I am grateful for such an enjoyable experience purchasing my Subaru.
Didn't reset the service reminder screen. Every time I start the car the service reminder comes up on the screen even though service was just completed.
Came here for my second oil change on my 2018 WRX. Came out with scratches on my rims, it must’ve happened when they rotated my wheels. The scratches were around the lugs area. I didn’t notice the scratches until a week later when I washed my car.
Disappointed that the "Infotainment System" totally stopped functioning on my 2018 Outback and needed to be totally replaced. Dealer quickly did this after having to order the part. It took 2 weeks for the part to arrive.

Customer service was great. The whole thing took 2 to 3 hours from test drive to driving home.
We purchased a brand new Subaru XV Crosstrek from Diablo Subaru of Walnut Creek back in 2014 at 6 miles with no disclosure of previous repairs or issues. A few months ago, the paint on the rear left door started peeling off. I took the car to a professional body shop to see what is going on. They measured the paint thickness all around the car and found that the left side of the car has double the thickness comparing to all other panels. They were very confident that the car was repaired on the left side. We took the car to Diablo Subaru on 3/15/2018 to show the paint issue. Our service adviser, Linda Duran sent us home saying it needs to be brought up to the service manager who was not in at the moment so we got promised a call back ASAP. After waiting for a week without having a callback as promised, I emailed Linda on 3/23/2018 to follow up. She responded saying the service manager will contact us. After waiting 5 more days with no callback, on 3/28/2018, I followed up once again to see if there is an update. Upon my email, I finally received a call from Dustin Jones (2 weeks after the service visit) explaining that he opened a claim with Subaru of Japan and waiting on a response. On 4/3/2018, he called me saying he is still working on getting the specs from Subaru of Japan and he would keep me updated. They did not follow up with me two more weeks. I emailed Dustin once again on 4/17/2018. He called upon receiving my email and basically told me there is nothing they can do to resolve our issue since there is no record of any work being done on the car which tells me they do things off-record so it got even more interesting. Why is it so hard to admit they messed up and make it right, and instead play games and let the customer run though circles for a month? This dealer goes above and beyond to sell you the car but the first time you have an issue with it, you are on your own. It is absolutely a rip off selling a repaired car as brand new with no disclosure. My faith to Subaru at this point is zero to none and I would never even consider buying a Subaru again and I will do my hardest to make sure everyone I know does the same.

I had the best experience buying a vehicle. Mustafa "Mo" was honest, professional, and one of the friendliest car salesman I have ever met. From my experience at Land Rover in San Jose to here was literally night and day! The general manger Mariah was very efficient on how she worked with her staff and the process was not back and forth for hours. I was shocked at how easy and painless it was to buy a car. Karen in Finance was very informative and worked on getting me a better rate for longer since I plan on paying it off sooner. I cannot tell you just how wonderful the staff was here. Everyone should have this type of experience buying a car! Definitely a return buyer in the future.

4 stars because after you buy the car, the finance person tries to sell you all this extra stuff, which really should be discussed before hand and not rushed to make a quick sale. Other than that the bathrooms we're clean and the wait area was clean and nice.
Nick from the service department gave me the best customer service ever. What a personable young man. He was thoughtful, helpful and attentive. I felt like a real valued customer. Thank you Subaru for hiring such wonderful staff, with service at the front of their agenda.
Friendly staff and comfortable facility! A component of being professional is also being a friendly and outgoing person. RJ Machado far exceeded my expectations during the sale process. He listened to my requests and made sure everything was ready when I picked up my 2018 Subaru BRZ from them. Even the other sales staff and managers were congratulating and thanking me for the business. I can’t believe a dealership this great exists! Highly recommend!
