Dollar General, Sacramento CA

This Dollar General always has what I need. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the bathroom seems to always be out of order. But during this time of Covid, not many people are using the public bathrooms. It's just nice to have that options as someone who suffers from IBS.
The area is kind of sus but that has nothing to do with the store itself. They just deal with a lot of thieves.

It was a nice experience, but a bit crowded and everything was all over the place. I like that it's affordable and that we finally have a dollar general and a family dollar.

Everyone knows $ Dollar General and what to expect. Inexpensive products and food. Generally the shelves are in disruption and unorganized. You get what you pay for. Although there are hidden jewels to be found from time to time.

Nice location, up-and-coming area, well-stocked, homely store, conveniently located close to the freeway. Staff is nice and reasonable normally, with decent customer service, lines move pretty good when busy.

It has lots of stuff I like at prices I can afford and staff that I don't dislike. It's convenient in location and hours open. Store is usually clean and usually well stocked. Good store!

This dollar General is very clean, the employees are are very helpful, kind, and respectful, it is always a good experience!

Super nice and care about their customers. Bad part of town tho, had truck stolen here last year. Lock your doors!

There are a lot of homeless people that visit the store and the Personnel treat you like you are one of them

Normally when I go to buy one or if it's something real simple it takes quite a while to get out of this store even if they have the part on the floor I don't know why maybe they could use another register for people who are purchasing things set up the floor so they can get get out in store but they are good and helping you with battery terminals windshield wipers could use some help with this system

Rude employees dirty store was rushed out of the store because it was closing in 2 minutes but totally very rudely would not recommend shopping there

I dont live anywhere near the area, but have been here a few times. Both times I witnessed fights and theft. Lots of drama. Customer service was.well not good.

The employees were very helpful & nice. The store needs to have restrooms available, that would be nice. Overall stocked up better than usual.

This is the closest dollar type store near me, and I don't feel safe going here. They need better security. I would rather drive farther out to a different neighborhood than go to this one. What a shame, cause I'd be there a few times a week for multiple needs.

Love this store for teaching supplies. They were very patient with a huge purchase for the end of the school year.

Every time I walk in the staff say welcome to dollar general no matter who is working.some days stock is low yet still they will try and take care of you people get to know the staff myself I ask for opinions on certain problems I.e. Heartburn and ways to get it like BBQ beans both those were rite on the money so ask don't guess

I shop here a lot sometimes twice a day very nice organized store very easy to access and find things staff is not that friendly especially the big Mexican lady does not know how to work in customer service don't even know how she ever got a job there but the reason I gave it one star is because of the long lines and the credit card machine is always down do not I repeat do not go here if you just want to run in and get something because even if you get one thing you're for sure going to be in here for at least 30 minutes standing in line sometimes the line is all the way to the back of the store and only one register is working I don't think it's something that Dollar General management can help I really think it's something on the corporate office needs to help because the one on Grand Avenue also is the same

Store manager is Dianna (pronounced dee-anna) a very friendly and down to earth person who takes pride in her store and cares about her employees and customers as well. The store is clean, well stocked and the prices are affordable. I shop there at least once a week and recommend the store to anyone who likes a good value when they shop.

Busy with only one Cashier. She was going as fast as she could but there were two Customers ahead of me and five behind. An Employee came out of door behind register area and looked around but laughed and went back in room. I feel he should of got on a register at least to get the line down. All my Complaint for this Trip

Just went to the store at 745pm got told we had only 2 min to shop. Told them they forget the store hours close at 9pm. Then got yelled at to hurry the hell up.

It was very messy there when I went and the cashier accused another guy that walked in right after me that he was a thief and he explained to her that this is my first time in here I've never been in here before, they argued about it and they brought manager to check there theft wall and he wasn't there he promised to never come back and the cashier was rude to me and other customer's
