Dollar General, Sacramento CA

Dollar General is a good store. Employees are nice and the manager Deanna is awesome!
This would have been a 5 star review but the selection of goods could be better.
Add to that with VERY FEW exceptions the Dollar General store brand "Clover Valley BLOWS CHUNKS!
After trying numerous different items under their store brand the only ones I would recommend are their sodas and their cereal.
Every other store brand item I have tried has been completely UNACCEPTABLE!
So when shopping at DG be sure to stick with The name brand items and you should have no problems.

A HOTT mess, no one can assist you or have the correct information for customers. Attitudes when any questions, unprofessional, unknowledgable on how to fix their mistakes for customers returns. Just a sad place of business. When you look this place up online the hours of Operation is so incorrect. They close at 8pm not 10pm pissed.

Cheap shopping and convenient. I mainly get gallons of milk here because they are cheaper than the grocery store.

I didn't like this store at all the shelves were almost empty, when I went and it seems like a prison because the isles where blocked off from other parts of the store

Store is not always clean and items are not stocked on shelf on a regular basis. Items are not in stock on a regular basis.

The aisles are blocked off, items aren't always in stock, carts full of items block the shelves so you can't see the items.

Employee's are awesome they need a raise for their over worked selves. Or a team that can keep the store up and watch for the theives.

It's prices are very reasonable and they sell brand name products at a discounted price, I will be going back to this store for sure.

Very well managed. Except the aisle separation. But I understand since the theft is super sky rocketed in the last few months.
