El Pollo Loco, Montclair CA

Today 6/11/21, I went to this location in the evening around 6pm. The worker who took my owner sounded very rude. I asked for 3 regular drinks. One being sprite, coke, and sweet tea. I asked for a 8 piece mixed family meal with mashed potatoes with no gravy and rice. Instead I got 3 large drinks being coke, sprite, and unsweetened tea. I got the 8 piece family meal with mac and cheese with gravy and rice. I was looking towards the mashed potatoes and my sweet tea. Also my mom said the mac and cheese was too spicy.

The food was good. The experience was sub par. The drive-thru was very long, so I went inside. I waited a long time to order and a long time to get my food. This location seems overwhelmed with the business (congrats) and could use more staff or another location. Online ordering and the drive-thru seemed to take precedence over customers in-store. There were lots of frustrated seeming customers inside. Save yourself the time and just drive thru.

Terrible phone customer service. Got hung up on multiple times trying to ask if they were open today and each time they spole over me, so I was not able to hear what they said and before I could say "What was that? " I would get hung up on. This happened 3x in less than 5 mins LMAO

Wouldnt eat here again honestly the trashes were full and nasty everyother table was closed and the ones that were open were really dirty i would think with the covid going around they would sanitize more often i ask for my table to be clean they didnt come out till we already had cleaned and sat down to eat! Wouldn’t recommend at all your team members Are rude to.

Quality and taste of food was good.
Employees were very busy. Trash receptacles overflowing. Eating area needed attention, floor and available tables had clearly not been swept or wiped for a several minutes. Makes a horrible impression. (Definitely under-staff restaurant). Visited on 06-05-21

This pollo loco just cannot get orders correct. It does not matter if you take delivery or pick up. 2 out of 3 times the order will be WRONG. They are too interested in being fast and not interested in being accurate. Try another location.it's not worth the frustration!

I made the mistake of trying this place again. This time they not only got the order wrong, but the replacement order manager Raul gave me was filled with burnt, black inedible chicken. Again don't waste your money at this place; you will end up sick as I did after consuming a piece of this burnt garbage.

Ordered 2 avocado chicken burritos and 3 nacho combos. Both burritos had practically no avocado in them and they tasted bad. The girl at register gave me my paper money change but didnt give me my coin change or receipt. I asked for receipt after i got all my food and it showed coin change due to me. I told the girl and she asked if i wanted the change? I said no keep it its fine. The burritos was the worse part. Manager should be replaced!

I go to el pollo loco All the time and the Guacamole is always amazing.not at this one.the girl Didn't even know if they had any but yet it 5: 00 p.m. And it ended up being super super spicy. I love spicy food but I'm pregnant so that's not really the best for me rn and it's never been like that At any other el pollo loco locations that I've been to which is very unfortunate that I wasted my money here.

Don’t order on their website! Ordered delivery from their website to be delivered the next day at 1pm. The order was never delivered and had to send someone to go pick it up. The store had no idea about the order and had to make it then. This took over 2 hours. The store never picks up the phone and had the audacity to charge the tips I added to the order. The order was over $90, not just one meal. Totally ridiculous!

I go here frequently for lunch since it's right by my work, but the tables are routinely dirty, I stopped ordering chicken breasts because the they are so consistently dry (I order though now instead), and the staff is never very courteous. On one recent visit 3 of the employees were clearly having a heated disagreement about something and we're doing a poor job of concealing it.

This place needs better customer service, I requested for a girl to clean our table and she didn't do it. The salsa bar was a total mess and the trash can was full with trash, as well as the rest of the place. It took so long to get our food and when we got it, it was cold. Wouldn't consider eating here.

Can't really say much about El Pollo Loco. The chicken is alright, at times it's dry. Their mashed potatoes are pretty dry.

It was dirty since the time we arrived to the time we left. The trash supper full and tables dirty drink area really messy. And hardly any people

This place is filthy. We have to clean our table with wipes before eating. There are some chicken bones on the floor. The trash piled up!

Good fast food. Just check your food in the drive through first, they always tend to forget something.

They were very busy, but the food was delivered in a relatively quick manner. My food was hot and tasted as expected. Parking is an issue, here.

This place was dirty, people coming in including me had to clean their own tables, previous customers left their trash on the tables because the garbage cans were full.pollo is good though, but I won't be back to this particular location.

If you need to get chicken go somewhere else because these people are kind of slow and burnt chicken

The restaurant was short one cashier. So the small But Mighty manager ran around and was trying to do several jobs at once. The restaurant was really busy, and she was under a lot of stress, but she did everything professionally and had service with a smile. Plus I had a special order, and she got it perfect. Great location!
