Do not rent from Point Loma branch.they rent out old junk.they rented me a 2017 Audi Q5 with bald tires and warning lights going off. Yes Red Flags, should of walked away then. I was told not to worry about.so after a couple of days my partner went to the beach, when he get back to the car it will not unlock or start.so he called me and I called the roadside assistant.they sent out a tow truck driver who could not get it started.the tow truck driver said it appears to have had battery or electrical issue.so after the tow truck driver picked up the car my partner had to hire a Lyft to get to work because they do not come out and swap cars for you. He was late to work. I spent the next 6 hours on the phone with enterprise and the tow truck driver, as they gave him a bad address and he did not know where to take the car. I had to hire a Lyft to get to the airport to get my partner a replacement car.then a few days later I get a letter asking for my insurance information to cover an accident.there was NO accent! The car would not start and was towed.so WARNING! Very corrupt branch! When I called in and asked what they are talking about they hung up on me every time I asked what accent? They did that several times refusing to tell me what they are claiming happened.still no clue as of June 15th 2021. I can tell you this much I'm NOT Paying for anything!

Don’t even BOTHER. Had a reservation to pick up a car today. They left me a voicemail THIS MORNING saying I needed to set an appointment time to pickup a car. I called them over 5 times, no one answers the phone and they don’t have a voicemail line. The automated phone service just hangs up on you. So I go in to pickup a car, and I’m told they don’t have one because we didn’t make an appointment. When I explained that no one answered, they simply say “we know, we were busy. ” Very rude. Never had a problem like this with enterprise. On the way to a different location right now. Again- don’t even BOTHER with this location.

Excellent excellent I love Enterprise their customer service is always superior they always have clean cars they're very proactive when it comes to covid-19 and they're always willing to answer any questions and to go the extra mile

Enterprise Rental Pt Loma San Diego was awesome! The staff went above and beyond to help meet my needs, all for the same price. Willing to work with you and they always have a nice selection or sportier cars to choose from if that's what you're after. Highly recommend.

I had an easy and uneventful experience here, which is all I ask when renting a car. I had reserved a Prius and received one. Picking up the car took about ten minutes, and dropping off was even quicker. The staff were all friendly. As some other reviewers have noted, the car was not brand new or in pristine condition, but it was newly cleaned and perfectly fine for the purpose. I would definitely come here again.

The employees at this Enterprise were friendly and efficient. I was shuttled both ways - which was very helpful especially considering the reason I was renting was that my car was totaled by a guy driving a stolen car - and everything was quick and painless. They communicated frequently with phone calls and text to let me know they were on their way, to make sure the car was satisfactory, and to confirm how things were going with my insurance coverage. Oh and the car was great!

Let me start by saying that I will update this review and that it is a reflection of the current experience I’ve had with Enterprise. I rented from the LAX location and was given a vehicle with minor damage (dings and scrapes) all of which were pointed out to me and showed to be smaller than the card the representative uses to determine documented damage. The vehicle was clean inside and it was a free upgrade which was nice. My rental and drop off were uneventful - I dropped the car at the San Diego airport and the rep checked mileage and gas. No other discussion took place he just walked around the car and sent me on my way. Until I got an email saying the car was damaged and asking for my credit card info a couple days later. The email did not identify damage and I’ve spent the last week trying to dispute it. First of all, I do not believe that there was damage because nothing occurred to cause any damage the rental was entirely uneventful. Second, if there was damage it should have warranted an actual discussion and should have been clearly communicated at drop off. Third, I’m pretty confident that they are trying to charge me for the existing minor damage that was smaller than the card but no card was used to compare at drop off since no damage was called out to me! I’m hopeful that my dispute will be successful. I chose enterprise thinking that they were a more trustworthy company than some budget rental options but so far that has not been my experience. I will update once I get to a resolution but at this point cannot recommend enterprise based on my current experience.

Update - I've called enterprise 3 times and was told it would take the damage recovery unit up to 2 weeks to respond. I've been given a claim number in the meantime. Per Lisa's suggestion below I emailed the email address provided and am awaiting a reply.

They charged me $500 for a small chip in the windshield that was already there when I rented the truck. I am a platinum member and I rented a pickup truck from this location and neither I or the enterprise rep noticed a chip in the windshield when we did the walk around. When I drove off and got a few miles away I noticed the chip and called the rep and told him about the chip. He said not to worry that he would note the chip on the paperwork. That employee got fired and never noted the chip and they charged me $500 for the chip in the windshield.

Pick up driver showed up late and I called Lyft For a ride. The branch manager “Kyle” was extremely nice and apologetic about that. He not only refunded my Lyft fare but also allowed me to bring back the car with empty tank. That more than made up for the delay and I was extremely pleased with it. The car was washed and clean inside and out. Enterprise is the best.

Friendly and helpful staff. I booked at this location because it was signifcantly cheaper than the airport Enterprise which made it worth the quick uber ride over. Would book again!

This particular Enterprise at Lytton St does not hv my mid size rental I reserved via Priceline. When I arrived, the lot was empty, they wanted to give me an Compact/Economy car that was just returned and it was not even cleaned yet. They were having an office meeting and kind of ignored me. They just told me I can cancel your reservation. I love Enterprise usually - El Cajon Blvd and Lemon Grove are go to locations.

I had a reservation for a car and when I got there, they had no cars or anything else to give me. They told me they might get one turned in after an hour or two, but they had nothing. The employees worked hard, calling other customers to encourage them to return their car soon. After an hour, they found a truck available which isn't what I wanted for freeway and city driving, but was the only thing available.

This is the closest off-airport Enterprise location to the San Diego airport. It's a $10 Uber ride from SAN. You can reserve a car online here and save a bunch versus getting it right at the airport. They give good, quick service. Only problem is they can't pick you up or drop you off at the airport, but Uber makes up for that.

The worst rental company, I've tried it a couple times and not once it went well. Every single time they didn't have the car ready and I had to wait more than an hour. Doesn't matter which Enterprise you go to, they always let you book even if they don't have anything available not like other rental companies. They don't care about their customers apparently since your time and plans doesn't matter for them.

Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. The office was very busy when I arrived but yet tge staff greeted me and acknowledged that I had entered and informed me that they would assist me shortly. Great experience! !
