Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que Hayward

When I went the place was pretty much shut down. No hot water in the resturante. Small servings when you get a multiplatter.

Enjoyed this place will definitely return. Didn't take long for food to arrive and enjoy the sangria, I think it's called campfire sangria. So refreshing.

Lunch is just as delicious and filling as dinner. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. Still a favorite!

When I choose a life, I go through it with tons of gusto, because I want to be there, unlike The waitress Melissa, ugh.
Act like you care.
Otherwise typical Dave's, Tv's and Beer.

People who came in after us, got their food. Still waiting, finally asked a passing by waiter because our waiter disappeared. Brought our food, cold baked potatoes and cold pulled pork! Complained, they brought hot food after 15 minutes in bowls, no plates. No apologies from manager who was watching. This place sucks. Waiters don't cover for others when they are on break. The manager doesn't wanna be there. Its a mess.

Not bad for a bbq chain restaurant. I like their variety of sauces and the bbq was overall not bad for what it is.

Service is bad for lunch. One server really. He was great, but they were way under staffed. He was also working the bar.

The food was really good - especially the St. Louis ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. The service wasn't great but I would still go back.

I've long been a fan of Famous Dave's having patronized their restaurants in Chicago, IL; Owings Mills and Lanum, MD and Hayward, CA.
