Filippi's Pizza Grotto Temecula

For the price and Portions you can't beat it. Not the highest quality of Italian food, but it's a great value for the amount of food and what you pay.

Food is freshly made and perfectly seasoned. The Veal Parmigiana and Chicken Parmigiana are both drool worthy! Pizzas are mouth watering. The crust is cooked to a crispy bottom and soft and tender middle and the toppings are perfectly purportioned. Cheese is melted and stringy and exactly what an Italian pizza should have. The pasta dishes are perfect! The bread of freshly made and is even better with butter spread on it! Check out the house wines too.

To experience a variety of dishes check out the feast for 2! Its around $23.00 and includes salads, freshly made bread, lasagna, spaghetti and cheese pizza. We ate our fill that night and ate again the next day! (Check days for this special!)

Staff is friendly and helpful. Resturant is clean and has high ratings. They have won multiple awards for their food and their support of the military and the Wounded Warrior group as well as local causes. They offer a military discount too.

Great place for family meals, date nights or a special celebration. This looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but is truly a hidden gem. Check it out!

Finally tried this place out, very nice folks working there. If you are hungry this place provides a lot of food. I ordered a large pizza to go when they handed me the box it weighed about 12 lbs. I guess this is Chicago style, or Sicilian? Very thick crust, tons of cheese, and loads of toppings. Actually too much of everything. The crust is actually not bad if they thinned it out and didn’t pour a bucket of cheese on it. So I guess a good place if you want to feed a bunch of hungry kids but there are better choices for authentic pizza - Times Square, Bongiornos and Temecula pizza company all make a great pie.

Coming here is a family based resturant with great foodz great wine, and great memories to make. I ordered the italian feast for 2 and they serve salad, bread, pizza, spaghetti and lasagna in the same plate covered in their special tomato sauce. Great food, the texture to the dough in the pizza is soft and crunchy. FUN FACT, you can see the history of the resurant from when it began all the way to present day in the waiting lounge they have in their resturant. The servers are amazing and friendly and always represent what you ask.

Best pizza anywhere! Great staff. The cooks are the superstars here! Order ahead and be careful of the 100 year old army that can't park or drive in the parking lot. Traffic is terrible on Jefferson at certain times of day.

Food was great and the service was very attentive. The only complaint I have is the personal conversation of the cook.even after the server asked him to quiet down. It happened the entire time we were there.some music would have helped mask it.though again.he didnt seem to care when told.

Filippi's has always been my favorite pizza. As a kid living in Jamul I would ask for Filippi's every birthday. When I moved to Temecula I was SO excited that one was there too! They really do make the BEST pizza. My favorite is the Works. Also love the antipasto salad.

I felt that the sevuce was okay but my wife and I got upset stomachs after we both ate differant things. Wont return.

Best pizza. Yummy lasagna and friendly staff. Although I must say, I hope they did not change over to crushed peppers instead of powdered ones.

I'm some what of a Filippis connoisseur having been to almost all of them. This Filippis is right in the middle. Antipasto salad is way better then the one in norco. The pizza is tasty, certainly not as good as the one on India street in San Diego but it's a good facsimile.

Delicious food at a great price! $20 fed 3 of us with lots of left overs. The meatball was out of this world!

Having found most restaurants closed we decided to see if this place would do. It was better than the fancier restaurants, food was excellent. Atmosphere was family and very friendly. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. I rate it 5 stars and more.

Pretty bland, small selection, and very unauthentic dishes. Waitstaff had some attitude but served us in a timely manner.

Great food the meatballs were huge, pizza fresh ingredients and very delicious good wine and beverage selection

Service was good, our waitress was very nice but as soon as we walked out the door my daughter said “I don’t want to come back here” and on our way home she said she overheard one of the employees said “Asians don’t belong here” while we were dining.

Their pizza was good, and also had their chicken parm not the best but tasted fine. Staff was super friendly, polite and accommodating.

Great pizza. Love their pizza sauce. Toppings are always fresh. Been going here for years. If you are a pizza lover, you can't go wrong here.
