Filippi's Pizza Grotto Temecula

Food was great, only thing that "bugged me was the flies" on the window next to my table. Had to scare some away from the food.

GREAT food and service. It feels like you're having Homemade Italian food without all the fancy stuff of a high end restaurant. I'm about eating delicious in a great home like ambiance with wonderful service. Fancy just doesn't do it for me with their scoop size portions. Thursdays is 2 for 1 and believe me you will get full. I prefer this place over Olive Garden ANY time. Plus it's family owned.

Beyond the fact that my wife and I usually go for deep-dish or regular crust, our pizza was just bad! On a thin cracker crust were a few slices of mozzarella in a lake of bland, out-of-the-can, tomato sauce topped sparingly with pepperoni and weird tasting sausage bits. Add to this the poor service and we won't be coming back.

I have seen a few bad review given to Fillipi’s so I just wanted to say I have been coming to the Temecula location for several years. We have always been waited on in a very friendly and timely manner. Food is always good and restaurant and restrooms clean. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Give it a try!

They have an amazing daily special. Lasagna, spaghetti, pizza, salad and bread for 2, $21.95, but it literally will feed a family of 5. The mozzarella cheese on the pizza has the best flavor and sauces on the pizza and pasta dishes are fantastic! $21.95.

American Italian food, nothing special, but reasonably priced and the chain has a long local history.
