Service advisor is difficult to reach and hard to communiate. Service centers are inaccessible normal business hours.

I paid $180 for a diagnostic that took 3 days but they couldn’t find the problem.
I paid $360 for the first fix and drove 5 miles then the problem came back. I brought back the car and did not get a refund for the $360.
My car was there for another week and I ended up paying more than $2000 for trial and error.
I will never come back to this place for service.

I had an appointment to test drive and June waited until I showed up to tell me that he already sold it and then tried to talk me into buying a new car $10,000 over my budget

Parts department will go above and beyond to find the part even if I don't know what it's called.

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Ask for Clark Saxberg. He is mature, laid back and will not waste your time. I went in, told him I needed the very base model truck, he found one right on the spot, we test drove it (no hassle), went back to his office, he filled out the application by asking me questions (which was really appreciated). It was quick, and hustle free.

The finance guy did try to upsell me some stuff but do not be afraid to tell him not interested I ended up caving in because I was afraid I was not going to get the truck.

That was it and I rolled out in my new 2016 Colorado. Thank you Clark thank you Chevy / GM!

OK, this past experience with Fremont Chevrolet was worse than the first.if you can, take your vehicle elsewhere for service.

The service attendant was very personable and offered to reimburse my Lyft ride when the shuttle couldn’t reach me in time. I would give this a 5 star review, but the service attendants were severely understaffed and the wait was too long. I’ve been to Fremont Chevrolet several times before and this seemed like an anomoly to their regular good service.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. I TRAVEL 50 MILES TO WORK AND I COULD WORK AT JUST ABOUT ANY DEALERSHIP CLOSER TO HOME, BUT WHY. THE MANAGEMENT AND OWNER OF THIS PLACE MAKE IT VERY ENJOYABLE AND MAKES MY COMMUTE SEEM SHORTER THAN IT IS. IN THE 4 YEARS I HAVE BEEN HERE, I HAVE PERSONALLY PURCHASED 6 VEHICLES HERE. 3 NEW AND 3 USED.
My name is Clark Saxberg and I approve this message.

Hi All and Fremont Chevrolet,
I leased a Chevy Volt (electrical car) at Ferment Chevrolet CA in July 2016. This car has too many problems and recalls; I have to deal with the services at Ferment Auto Service.
Recently, this car has an issue, the radio panel is dark, no function at all with the radio, Bluetooth.
I made an appointment and dropped my car there. On the second day, service agent called me he said that “their tools can’t communicate to the radio and others”. 3 days later, he called me said that “the radio penal is dark because one module is bad and need to be replaced (not in stock). Will take 5 days to order and receive/install”. Finally, I got the car back in 9 days.
After I received the car, 1) The car’s engine is much more noise than before. 2) The back trunk door is hard to open/close (why someone touch the back trunk door?). I don’t want to send the car back to fix them because it will cause me more inconvenience.
I am not sure this survey can be improved their services or not.

My suggestions (about 3 categories) :
1) Personal services: the person we contacted, he is nice. Nothing related personal, he just followed this procedure but I called him, no answer. Only he can call me.
2) Auto service schedule: There is no weekend (Saturday) auto service for electrical car. I asked why? We have more electrical cars on the market. But Fremont Chevrolet‘s dealer said “no technician available during the weekend” why?
3) The system of dealership issue: Once we bring the car to do the service, it takes too long. Not convenience for us. The Chevrolet or the car dealer should take some responsibilities because we bought this car from you. I suggest that if the car in the service more than 3 days, the dealer should pay some fees as $50 each additional day to make us/your customer satisfied.

Thanks,

Stevie

We recently leased a 2018 Chevy Bolt. We had a great experience with our salesman.though we had a few bumps in the road after we drove our new car out of the lot (hence the 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5). However, I want to focus on what happened after that. We had excellent follow-through from management, and I want to give a particular shout-out to Phil and then to Jason. They both really went above and beyond to make sure we were not just satisfied but thrilled by the end of our experience. In the end, we felt like they really cared about us and our business. I would definitely go back to Chevy Fremont-and fully expect to do so when we are ready get a Volt.

Owning Chevy Bolt has been an excellent experience so far. I have had no problems in leasing, driving, servicing the vehicle so far. It has either met or exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this vehicle as well as Fremont Chevrolet to everyone.

The sale was easy and straightforward. Christian was a great help and would recommend him for help with purchasing. Appreciate everything they did for me.

Took 4 trips to do something that would have been easily done in 1 if they had the right people and parts in store. Also, they refused to let me order on the phone so I had to make an extra trip (1 hour both ways) to the dealership to order a part.

Took a little longer than I was told. Service advisor was very nice however I have to take vehicle back soon. Heating works much better but still throws a little cold air and on climate panel for volt the a/c still keeps turning on despite having temperature in heat.

I worked with Kevin Rodriquez in Fremont Chevrolet and he is too good with us and shared all the details that we requested to him regarding my Chevy Traverse.

The only reason I'm giving one star is so that I can follow with this review. My car chevy cruz up and died on the freeway on February 27th. I had it towed to the fremont chevrolet dealership servicing on auto mall parkway because I didn't know where else to take it. I was not in an accident so insurance won't help me. They had my car for 2 entire weeks before I finally called them to get a status update. (Bennie had told me not to call him, that he would call me when he had something to report.) Well, he never did. I was told that the problem was internal engine issues and that the "good news" is that it's all covered under warranty. Great - what about this rental car that I owe over $1000.00 for now? I was told that they had to order a part so it would be at least 10 more days. After 10 more days I had to, once again call him. I was then informed that now my car needed a whole new engine and that i will be lucky to get my car back by April 10th. His attitude has been that I should be grateful that I'm getting a brand new engine "for free". Well it's not free and it's the manufacturers wrong doing so why am I having to go through all this and why should I have to pay for the rental. Chevy should have loaners when they are keeping someones livleyhood hostage. It has now been 6 weeks today and he has not reached out to me at all about my vehicle. I used to love chevy but now I really hate them. I'm adding mine to the class action against them. I wasn't going to but I've been telling them for over two years that something was off in the transmission but they just continued to tell me nothing was wrong. After this ordeal. I no longer want my car!

Why can’t people just communicate and call SOMEONE back, a diagnostic test doesn’t take over 6 hrs, left 4+ messages NOTHING, I get it there busy but come come on a simple update would greatly be appreciated especially since my Tahoe was triggered by there techs when performing a tire rotation.
Good thing it’s not Ed McMahon calling them,
Should have gone to the one in San Jose - service there is awesome and so are the updates
* turns out diagnostic takes over a day now *
Will rate after I have my vehicle in hands right now it’s
