Fremont Urgent Care

All of the other hospitals and clinics with big names who only looks into patients pockets and money, should learn from "Fremont Urgent Care". I had a chest X-Ray done for an unbelievable low cost. I was called by a Doctor and she spent about 10 minutes of her time explaining the complication. I find it unimaginable that getting X-Ray done and having a Doctor calling you and explaining it to you. This is called "Human Kindness" which you can not find with big names hospitals in today's world.

Fremont urgent care has a wonderful staff! Front office and back office are very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Giddens is fantastic. I live in Livermore, and I have gone to the urgent care out there. NEVER AGAIN! I will only go to Fremont.

It's been a couple of months since my last visit, which totaled 8 in all. I had a bad leg wound. I was hurt and in pain. My wait time was minimal. Everything is basic and clean. The Dr. 's who treated me thru the two months of visits were patient and understanding of me. I would recommend this place for care. They were there when I needed them. Thank you to all who work there.

Dr. Nyquist is the best doctor. I really like her, she is thorough and genuine in the care she provides for her patients.

I started out with a cold that turned into an 11 week cough. I went into Urgent care and had a nurse practicioner (Veronica) who was super. She treated me for a sinus infection (after testing me thoroughly)
with an antobiotic she thought would help. After 10 days on the antibiotic I went back in as the cough was still pronounced. I saw Dr. Gibbons who tested me further and gave me a chest xray to rule out anything else that might be going on. I am now on another medication that I will be taking 3 more days.
The offices at the Urgent care were very clean and nice. The staff were superb and the wait was short. Both visits I was listened too and checked out in a professional manner. Also, I had a lot of fears about having the cough so long and it not getting any better. I was put at ease by the care that I got.

This place is terrible. Its an urgent care, and I got dehydrated while I was waiting for doctor for 3.5 hours. They mismanage queue, and people who got there after me were being attended. They dont have warm water (I have sore throat, which was the reason I was there to begin with, and I couldn't drink cold water coming out of their water cooler). Their answer to everything was "we are busy today". Its crazy that i waited for 1h after getting into consultation room.

I’ve used Fremont Urgent Care several times and had very good care. The doctors I’ve seen were very knowledgeable and thorough.

Physician assistant Veronica is very friendly, kinda and competent. So does the nurse (forgot her name), but the two receptionist are awful, they are not friendly and give you impression that they don't like their job. The place is not that clean compare to other urgent care. Wonder why there is no change in the receptionist attitude after so many complaint in the review! Absolutely the worst bedside manner I have ever witnesses in my life. Took my son there for a slight fever and the Dr would not speak to me directly, only my husband, even when I asked questions. She had no idea how how to check an infants ears, and gave us an rx that he didn't need. Glad I took him to his regular Dr the next day. This lady had no clue!

Worst place ever. I don't recommend at all!
I would give them a negative star, also I will call the health department to complain.

Went in for a DOT physical and this place has been the best by far. The staff is efficient yet thorough. I was in and out fast without an appointment. Dr. Gidden is very informative.

3 hours waiting time! I walked in at 9am, and it's 11.50 and I'm still waiting for the doc. Ridiculous! Only maybe 5 people out in the waiting room. I can't imagine why the staff is taking so long!

Update: the doctor is nice. When I finally got to see him, he explained things clearly. So I'm increasing the rating from 1 to 3 points.

Update: doc gave bad advice. Wound got affected. Rating down to 1.

Came here Saturday and Monday afterwards - people are very nice, help you figure out what's wrong. Dr. Gidden was very informative about the thought process that doctors do when there prescribing things to you and took care to inform me of what the situation could be and I greatly appreciated that!

Dr. Giddens is one brightest and nicest MD's in Fremont, just ask some of the Safeway workers at 309 who have visited this facility past and present. In addition to previous posts that's it's dirty and caters to low income folks your wrong. Hater!

I have taken my kids here for years and I go myself. This is the best place ever I no longer live in CA but when I am in town and need a doctor I always go here. Doctor Giddens is the best doctor ever and this is his clinic. My kids are older and they wont go to any other doctor.
The staff is very friendly as well

The physicians assistants are nasty, really bad attitudes. The doctor and nurse are really nice and pulite

They quickly diagnosed my skin rash without making take a skin culture or wasting money on unnecessary medications

The wait times here are very very long. On an average the wait time here is atleast an hour if not more irrespective of what time you come here (I have come here even at 8: 00 AM as soon as it opens and still have had to wait for an hour). So come prepared for a lot of wait time.

The doctor here is very experienced offering great advice making it worth the wait.

Worst experience ever. I was put in a roo m for over an hour and a half. The nurse was rude and not helpful. I was I pain and they didn't care. I wish I could give this place negative stars.
