Gen Korean BBQ House, Chino Hills CA

This is by far the best Korean BBQ I have been to. The cow tongue, brisket, steak, shrimp and basically anything is good. The food and staff are great, only negative is can get very busy, so service can be a little delayed, but that is because they have good food.

Can I give 0 star? The quality is way worse. Did they change management? Craving beef tongue then stop here due to good experience last time. However, we are totally disappointed this time. They charged dinner price $21.99 for lunch in weekend. None of our orders are satisfied, especially their beef tongue. It's terrible!

Promise you will be amazed here! They too, will do just as great, AND better, like when Dennys was located there. Proud of this particular local. Beautiful establishment. Kind, helpful, friendly, and efficient service. The food is healthy and pure and no fake dishes. All cooked right in front of you by you. Add your sauces and veggies to your meats and enjoy the freshness entering the temple that is your body. LOVE IT!

There are many beautiful options to choose from. They work so hard to put beautiful detail into their work. They deliver one time. The produce is always fresh and the displays are always oh so beautiful.

First time here for my wife and I. Our waiters Ivan and Darwin walked us through the menu and we followed their recommendations. Fantastic! Great food, great service and fun atmosphere. Ivan and Darwin made this a great dining experience for a couple new to Korean bbq!

Good price and just like any other Korean BBQ restaurant. The ambiance is more modern than others.

The quality of the food is subpar. I really would rather drive down a street to go to Wang Cho. I just feel as they do a better job with marinades and quality of the meat they use. Gen is probably the place I would invite others to go to first try it out just because it's the most Americanized out of all the others. I didn't have a bad experience with customer service, but I do believe the quality of the food can be a way better!

Does not deserve even a star. Rice was sticky, meet was awful, service even worst. We left all food.

One of the best all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ around the area. Side dishes are ample and exceptional. The atmosphere is vibrant and upbeat, With it's dark lighting theme coupled with blue glows, it feels like dining in a nightclub.

Service is friendly and fast. When times are busy, service can be a bit slow. I can't blame them as there are a lot of customers to take care of.
