George's Camera reviews
34I love spending my money with the local guy These people know The products a wealth of knowledge I will be to get a 7D mark I've been looking to pick up.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff with a nice selection of cameras and gear. It's a small shop with a truly local atmosphere. They're happy to just chat with you about gear, make suggestions and even let you try out one of their own lenses on your camera. Highly recommend this place.
George's offers far more than a retail camera shop with photo processing available and a small station to upload images and make novelty coffee mugs with your selected image on them. They sell new and used equipment and have some really old antique cameras on display around the shop that really highlight how far photography has advanced. Big selection of accessories and cameras. The staff was extremely helpful when purchasing a new camera after my last one was stolen
This is a GREAT CAMERA SHOP! It was my first visit, and all I needed was an accessory (stabilizer) along with a reserve battery. I was very impressed with the cast selection, competitive pricing, and superbly friendly staff. It was pretty busy inside, and even so, each customer I saw was greeted and respectfully helped in a timely manner. If you need a camera or any accessories, this is a one-stop shop for you. I will be returning!
San Diegos COOLEST PHOTO STORE! If they dont have it, you didnt need it anyway. Jesse, Gus Jay and Mark GOT YOU COVERED!
Great staff and vibe. Very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend coming here to shop for your first camera or for advanced camera needs.
I needed for an official government application. Surprisingly, they were not able to provide the exact size photo required by the official document. I then went to the Photo Center and was pleased to quickly learn that George's Camera (I assume the owner) knew exactly what I needed! He was pleasant, knowledgeable and fast - at a reasonable price. So glad I came here - highest recommendation! Thanks, George's Camera!
Should be your go-to for cameras and photo supplies. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Eager to help the beginning photographer.
A proper pro photo store. I've been going for years. Camera's, film, accessories, equipment rental, processing, camera repair all staffed by friendly & knowledgeable folks. A real gem.
My go-to camera store. I'm old school snd still shoot film cameras. Georges has me covered. Tons of film types. Great developing and yes you get negatives. Very knowledgeable staff ready to help. Everything for pros to amateurs.
Pretty disappointed to be honest. They mark up EVERYTHING they sell so much it's sad. A $800 lens exactly 1 year later was only worth $150 as a trade in or $250 via private buyer. Really? Plus the man who helped me was not very nice at all.
My favorite spot to pick up gear and talk shop. The staff is beyond helpful and knowledgeable! Great people, great store!
Great people, always helpful here and the service is the best. Keep this place thriving people, shop here instead of best buy and online.
Honest, knowedgable and helpful staff. Might be a tad over priced, but the service and honesty easily covers that. You can rest assured you get an honest assessment when taking your cameras in for repair. They will not take advantage of you.
