Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ reviews
33They had a nice affordable happy hour. 50$ for two person meal. Food was good. I would return.
Nice atmosphere, better place for friends hangout not a family dinner. I waited about 30 minutes to get in.on weekday dinner. Meats are seasoned little bit too much for us, so I recommend you to order rice to eat with.or a large beer.
I love Korean bbq. But one day I try Japanese bbq. It’s very good. I like to go back again soon. Just only thing parking not to enough for clients.
I don’t usually write a review, but I need to share this: We were so excited to have a dinner here, but the waiter had hella rude attitude and decided to leave. She’s the worst waiter I’ve ever experienced. Never come back till they fire her!
Great happy hour. You can go there an order 2 ala carte Meats and get a side of soup and salad and two of you can get out for less than 20 bucks including tax and tip that's pretty awesome. I would suggest making a reservation but if not it's well worth the wait. Some of the best barbecue I've had outside of Japan and Korea
Nice Jap bbq with happy hour set meal too. We came on odd hour for lunch so we dont have any Q. Plus the waiter is really accomodating for what we should order and how long to grill the meat for best consume.
We would definitely come back here again.
We were there for Xmas lunch, made our days even better.
Worth the wait, every piece of meat here is delicious. Definitely be here again. Usually busy, u can call and reserve a table tho
This location used to have great service a few years ago but my most recent visit was not that great. Not sure if they were understaffed but it took a long time to be seated when there were tables open. The food wasn't as good either. Not sure if they are under new management but I won't be going back.
The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat barbeque for an allotted 90 minute or 120 minute interval, depending on the tier of dining you wish to purchase. Though the time it takes to receive some of the dishes takes longer than at other self-barbeque restaurants, the quality of the meat makes up for the wait. It would most likely be wisest to order a new round of meats as soon as you receive the current round. The selection of sides is, however, a bit lacking.
The quality of the meat is pretty good, however the portions are small. Especially for the higher end price. Given that you cook your own food, this becomes a very pricey place. Good, but pricey.
Very tasty "you grill" japanese style raw meat. I like the ambience. The wait is about 45 minutes. The parking is on the street. Friendly staff.
Japanese BBQ you cook yourself at your table. Delicious and fun for groups. DEFINITELY try to go during happy hour, the food isn't that much cheaper but the drink deals are awesome. If you get there and there's a long wait (which is pretty common, call ahead to see how long the wait is/try to make a reservation) check out the welesbourne next door, a bar with awesome cocktails, to kill some time whole you wait
Another trendy place where the service is okay, food is okay and the price is for the sizzle and not the steak
