I rented a vehicle for 4 days. I often come here to rent cars. However this particular time was a nightmare. Second day into the rental I got a flat. I attempted to contact Hertz roadside assistance but after 3 hours of wait I hung up. I had to call my nephew to change the tire. I called the rental. They referred me to John Wayne Airport for a exchange. I did so. The very next day another flat tire. After 3-4 hours of wait I finally connected to an assistant. I was told I must pay 65.00 for roadside. I declined. Called AAA myself. Finally got the tire change by thus time after a 5 1/2 hour wait. I contacted Hertz to make my case of this awful experience. Hertz was not willing to work with me on any level. I have filed claim due to this horrible experience.

Closed an hour early but FAILED to post the tine change on any websites. Therefore it was a wasted trip to the location!

Last night my husband David rented a car to pick up today. No problem. We paid with our Debit card. He goes to pick it up today and they tell him they have to run a credit check first. Then he was denied, so he said You took my money last night, so give it to me now. Nope you have to go on line to get your money back. We had a Confirmation code for our payment. He was going to take me to my parents house who are sick. And our car is not running good. What happened to you Hertz? We have rented cars from you before with our debit cards no problem. Now you are jerks. To put it nicely. You people have not only upset my husband and I. But my elderly parents who are waiting for me to get to them. You do not care about the customer. You are only in it for the money. Who cares about us little guys. I will never recommend your company to anyone. You had a good company before, but something changed. And now Hertz you stink!

Made a reservation for a compact car - confirmation number in hand. I called the location to make sure they were open (5 minutes after making reservation) before I Uber'ed to the location to pick it up. The lady who answered let me know they do not have a car for me and would not honor the reservation. The options available were to wait a few days for a compact, or pay more for an SUV. I called the central 800 number and spoke to someone who eventually hung up on me while trying to contact the Fullerton, Harbor location. Over the next hour, I spoke with 8 different people through the central 800 number and none of them could help me. I finally started the reservation process over and hoped for the best. The operator initially matched my original reservation price and found a car in a city 30 minutes away. I agreed to pick the car up myself since they would not move vehicles between locations. However, they charged me over $50 in order to drop the car off at the location of the original reservation. In short, no customer service; this location (Fullerton on Harbor) does not go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. Next time I will use Enterprise as everyone told me I should have used in the first place.

I had gone to this hertz for a rental car as my car had a recall and i had to wait what ended up being 5 momths to get it repaired, and thia is where I was sent. At first i was kind of annoyed because of the selection of cars, however they were great to me there. I had Daniel and the other woman manager takimg care of me and i had to renew my contract monthly and had an accident in the first car (they got to see me quite a few times). They were totally awesome about the whole thing! To my surprise they were comforating to me and I can't tell you how appreciative I am for all of the employees reacrions to me and how none of them were concerned about the car too much and all there focus was on how I was doing and if I was hurt or not, they were all genuine and very thoughtful. My family first concern was how much damge the car had, but they were like "omg thats scary, are you ok", so bonus points for the compassion of all the employees I talked to. It made my experience with the harbor location a wonderful one and i will definately check them out when renting a cr in the future. Thank you to all of you at hertz Fullerton! You guys were great!

No frills. Quick service. Good price. Easy location to access via public transportation from Anaheim Resort area. Can't ask for much else. Decently clean car. Worth it if you need to rent and want to save some money.

This has to be the best company to rent from. The staff here is amazing! I always get the best service from the girl that works here, I forgot her name though ‍️ but wow I will always rent my cars here from now on. The best prices, deals and cars! Totally erased my experience from my first visit here 3 years ago.

Have rented 4 cars from this company. 2 from this location and 2 from the John Wayne location.

The service level varies per who's working. I picked up two cars in a week from this location. Probably no more.

IF I could give this place negative stars I would. This place is horrible. Not only are the clerks super careless, and inconsiderate but they take forever. I was waiting in line with like 7 other people for 40 minutes because they cant figure out how to act right. Horrible customer service. Only reason I came was because my repair shop sent me, I hope I never have to come to back here again. Do yourself a favor and rent a car somewhere else.

For the life of me, I cannot remember the managers name. But she is awesome. I had a terrible experience with the car rental company back in 2017, but she turned around my perspective of the company Hertz. She saved me money and was flexible with my pickup/dropoff schedule.

I am hoping she is still there when I visit SoCal next week.

My experience with Hertz recently was awesome, thanks to Kat! She needs a raise for sure. Hertz is lucky to have someone attentive and patient, understanding and flexible like Kat. She was empathizing with my horrible day and made my day way better honestly. Grateful I went here instead of enterprise.

They don’t answer the phone and when you go there they tell you sorry we don’t have anything left for rent! Don’t bother go there anymore.

The best Hertz experience you can get here. Cat was extremely helpful the GM was always there to help. Good price, great selection, my favorite was the Mazda 3 rental, and good mileage and protection. You go to spot right there.
