We were treated very professionally even though we were a bit late. We were left alone to view the house with no interruption as we viewed! I Give Homepoint A+ Perfect.

I have been renting from Homepointe for nearly 10 years and have found them to be very reliable, prompt, and professional with any issues I have had. I have an incredible owner who maintains the home beautifully. I am very grateful for their support.

This is the worst property management I've ever rented from and I have only been in my condo for about 11 days. Let's first start off by the application process. One email was telling me that there were applicants ahead of me and that they would let me know when my application would be processed before my credit was ran. Then there was another email that ran my credit the next day without informing me that my application was going to be processed. I called them and no one answered until I left a rude voicemail stating asking if they ran my application on accident since I got an email from my credit report. Then once I got approved for the application. I didn't receive a call just an email saying bring the deposit within one business day. I moved from Los Angeles to Sacramento and they knew that I was coming I didn't move in until a full week after I put down my deposit. The condo was not move in ready at all. None of the appliances were on, nothing was cleaned, and the water heater doesn't work upstairs. Most of all she didn't provide me with a mail key and suggested that I go to the post office on my day off and purchase one. They also didn't even make a copy of my key. I had to go out of my way to make a copy for them. I am in my second week and there's no hot water upstairs so I have been taking cold showers and one of the appliances still doesn't work. This is a mess and super unprofessional. After my lease is up, I will never rent through this company again. I thought that I dealt with horrible property management companies before but I take that back. In comparison they were decent. This is by far the worst property management company and they have made my move to Sacramento a headache during this time of dealing with a brand new city and new job. If I could give them negative stars I would!

They don't stand by their policy. If you have any defaults on rent payment get a cosigner don't waste your time. I applied because I have bad credit, and the websites said it n lieu of credit history you can pay an extra deposit. Well they took my 45 dollars an denied me and did not offer extra deposit offers. Look for a private landlord.

Homepointe has made property ownership easy for me. They handle everything on my behalf. The tenents pay them. They pay me. That's wonderful! 5 stars for that.

The only issue that I have had has been with maintenance. I do my best to give quick authorization for estimates and repairs when requested. On one instance, I authorized the purchase of a refriderator to replace a non-operating one. The tenent told me it was still a month before the new one was delivered. Items on annual inspections have also taken a long time to be addressed. 1 star for this.

I had the misfortune of dealing with this agency. They were a continual problem from start to finish. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They are dishonest and shady.

It all started with having to pay application fees to even view the property. Then, we were told we needed to wait to move in while they painted the unit to cover the black marks all over the walls- well that never happened. We arrived with the movers to find the unit in the same filthy condition, black marks and all. We had to go to their office to sign the lease and get a key.as in one. We had to contact the HOA for the other keys and security fob, and have a second key made.

The screen on the sliding door was well beyond repair and it took 6 months to get it handled! The same with the missing seal on the oven and refrigerator issues. The lease we signed, as the movers circled the block, said they would not maintain any of the appliances. Then there were the toilets. The hall bathroom smelled of raw sewage and the one in the bedroom ran continuously. Neither EVER really fixed the entire 2 years we were there!

The owner agreed to discount our rent by the cost incurred by renting a garage space across the street because the parking space was compact and next to a wall making it virtually unusable. This "agreement" showed up us unpaid rent resulting in threats to evict us every other month. It took hours to straighten out each time.each time with a different representative. This was incredibly stressful, especially when we had a 3 day notice attached to our front door!

Despite all this, our rent was raised 3 times, and we were told it was because of our "excessive plumbing issues. "

The stress was too much, and we moved. We did the walk thru after the movers left and the clean up was complete, but got back only half of our deposit!

I have never had so many problems with a landlord! Don't fall for the LUXURY CONDO hype! These people are SLUM LORDS! One star is too generous!

Would not recommend them to anyone. I was denied befire I completed the application and also was not given a reason why, It took them a week to get back to me but only a few minutes to charge my account for the application fee. Very bad and customer service and the do not believe what they tell you they are all lies THEY DENIED ME WITHOUT MY INCOME VERFICATION. WHAT RENTAL COMPANY DOES THAT JERKS. ALSO
THEY ARE VERY RACIST AND DONT NOT LIKE TO RENT TO BLACK. SO WHAT YOU HAVE BLACK EMPLOYEES THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO HIRED PEOPLE OF COLOR

I have used HomePointe since 2006 to manage my rental in Sacramento. They handled all the formalities to find a tenant and found a tenant who has been with me to this day. I wanted a gardener to go in and maintain the grounds, because I did not expect the tenants to maintain the grounds, and they found a gardener for me who has proved satisfactory to date. They inspect the property annually and alert me to all items needing attention. Whenever there is a need for repair, the tenant contacts them, and they send me an estimate. I have always approved, since their estimates have been reasonable.

If you have a rental, and you want it managed with the least hassle to you, and you want it looking pretty much the way It was the day you bought it, these are your guys.
