Great Service! We were assisted by Jason. He was very helpful, listened to what we were looking for. We ended up purchasing a 2018 Honda CR-V. Thank You Honda of El Cerrito & Jason! We Love the CR-V! Very Spacious, & Good on Gas.

They charged me vehicle delivery fee plus 800$ for transportation cost from other dealer and plus they also charge me for tint which is included on every vehicle that you purchase from this dealership. I had to struggle to bargain to put wheel lock which is also included in the vehicle that you purchase from this dealer. Very disappointed. Plus my car had steering issue for that I had to tow my car twice which I had to pay.

I've always had a good relationship with my Honda service department, but El Cerrito Honda is the best! Friendly, prompt, thorough. Say what they'll do, and do what they say. Honest about estimated cost - no hidden charges - and open about work that could be done more affordably elsewhere. Careful about keeping your car clean inside, and usually throw in a complimentary car wash. Overall, great place for Honda car maintenance and repair.

Outstanding service from Mr. Kris Castillo: Unfailingly kind, courteous, gentle and effective. He negotiated on my behalf with my insurance company, with Honda of America and with senior management to get my aging Honda back on the road. I am forever in his debt. If you are looking for service with integrity, you have found it.

Seems like they'll say anything to close the deal and don't mean any of it. The bank wanted to give a higher interest rate than was contracted. They asked me to sign a new contract, I wanted to just return the vehicle. They found a credit union who wouldnt raise the rate but I was lied to about having to open an account at the credit union that financed my vehicle (I didn't want a new account). I honestly felt bullied. He said "The van is yours, we're not taking it back. If you don't sign this you'll be stuck with the banks rate. " For $31,000 you think you'd be treated with more respect.

I got a 2018 Honda HR-V and Elsa helped me through it all. She was wonderful! Not only was she great in the sales, but when I was figuring out how to get over the bridge since I didn't have cash, Elsa insisted to give me $5 in order for me to cross the bridge. She was very generous, going above and beyond and found exactly what I needed in a car. I am very happy with my purchase!

Brought my vehicle in for basic oil change and tire rotation on 02/17/18 at 11: 00 AM with a “Date/Time Promised” stated on my receipt at 02/17/18/ in 12: 30 PM. I was given a complimentary uber ride to my house since I was told that services on my vehicle may take awhile. As I write this comment, it is 4: 30 PM in my house and I still have not received a single return call from Honda Services Department regarding the status of my vehicle. I had called their department 3-4 times from the time I brought in my vehicle and I was told repeatedly that my advisor was not available and that I should receive a email shortly. 4 1/2 hours into the wait and no phone call nor email! I find this unacceptable customer service! I have multiple errands that I missed because of this unexcusable delay. Misleading customers are not okay by stating on receipt that vehicle will be ready by 12: 30 PM when clearly it’s not! I understand that Saturdays can get busy but at least a courtesy call will help appease my wait. Very frustrated and disappointed!

El Cerrito Honda have a large number of Repair Sales Associates however, the bottom line is to obtain as much money $$ as possible when you sit down to conference about vehicle even a simple oil change. If you're looking for integrity and customer service stop at Berkeley Honda. You may wait 15-20 minutes longer but you leave with what you need only. Thanks!

Service:
I had an appointment today at 10: 30am for just an oil change I made a week prior. Today when I arrived early, I couldn’t even get anyone to acknowledge my presence until 11: 00. I got my car back at 1: 30. I’d still be there, but I had to go make a jerk of myself in the service area to get the privilege of paying and leaving. Basically they lied to me about the process and how long it would take. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

Love getting my car serviced here. Great service, the guys a very attentive and they always take care of me. You can get oil changes without an appt. I love my Honda!

Another same thing to shop local and convenience if live by there area of the local Honda Dealership. Look for there sales and deals and Honda's are good cars to have.

Today in the morning i arrived to Honda el ceriito around 11am to look for a car and if convinced buy a car. As soon as we got in nobody was there to help or welcome us, so we just asked for salesperson (i wish we just left w/o even looking, no customer service. Anyways after we met with salesperson and he showed us the cars they have and decided to look the new Honda 2018 EX which was a very nice car.

So we went back to the office and did all the paper work with the salesperson and he took my info and run my credit which was good enough to get a good deal or loan. He made us call the insurance and put it under my mother. That’s after we agreed on a set price to pay monthly and put down payment. After all that he comes back from the managers office to tell us that the bank couldn’t accept the offer that the bank made for us because he put an estimated income when he applied for the bank. Mind you we been there for almost 4 hours because he was very slow paced and he wasn’t help for us at all. After we called the manager he was even more disrespectful towards us. After we asked for another car and price was very high as well as the interest. After we gave him our price and he said “we guys might as well leave” we stayed there for 6 hours and didn’t even treat us as a customers. It was waste of time and very bad experience.

After spend 4 hours there I finally got my car after two days the transmission blew! Warning do not go here. When I called the manager they laughed at me and told me I couldn’t prove they sold me a faulty car! Beware do not purchase a car from here.

Takes awhile to get service in the service department and its very expensive. If you have no other choice they will at least get the job done right and get you a ride home and back.

We had an appointment at 9: 45am to test drive and check out the new civic type R. Once we arrived the lady at the front desk sent us to a "manager" the manager then informed us that they don't have the car because the OWNER of el cerrito honda took it home. No one gave us a courtesy call to cancel or reschedule, we drove from Hayward to see this car. This is very unprofessional and definitely not buying from El Cerrito Honda.
