IHSS reviews
30There is no ordinance there. Everyone is just cutting or coming way too close to you instead of six feet apart. Almost everything and everyone there are no following the safety rules at all. It's very sketchy but it was easy once it was my turn it was just giving papers in the front and that was all. But they need to work on cleaning the outside and following the safety rules or enforce it.
IHSS Provider Information in DowntownLosAngeles, CA UnitedStatesOfAmerica is confusing at the moment because of Covert-19 pandemic at this point all t crossed i dotted ready for allkindsadventure - LosAngelesCounty UnitedStatesOfAmerica February2021
HORRIBLE SERVICE. YOU CALL ANSWER MACHINE ANSWER PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES, THEN AUTOMATICALLY HANG UP ON YOU! REALLY WELL WHAT ELSE CAN WE EXPECT IS COUNTY FACILITY.
What customer service? None of the people ever answer the phone, They have disconnected numbers listed as current for important problems like when payroll doesnt pay you. I couldnt even find someone to let them know i quit. They are the absolute worst. Not only that the seiu union is crook scam. They superimpose and steal money from your check without your authorization. Horrible
Always a bit crowded and many things tend to sell out by noon!
Good luck on finding toilet paper!
I have always had very professional service. My worker Megan was very helpful. My first time being an in home care provider and everyone from help desk to my worker Megan Hayes have been so helpful. They work so hard and still working during the Corona virus. Thank You for all you do.

DO NOT WORK HERE AS A PROVIDER! If you work for a receiptent they can literally not let you get paid if they don’t approve of your timesheet and lie about it and the IHSS would not do anything about it
Bad service! Some women sound stressed. Too much waiting on phone line just to get disconnected and to do all over again. Too many departments and phone numbers if your dealing with different questions.
This is by far the worst customer service I’ve encountered. It’s pretty obvious no one here likes their job. If you dare to try to ask a simple question to any of these paycheck guzzling heathens you will get either a non answer, an ignore or get hung up on. I will be reporting this department.
Very rude customer service, the lady who helped me on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional
The Ihss online portal is not equipped to handle the amount of time sheets that need to be processed. It's Jan 7th and our paycheck still hasn't gone through, which is absurd.
I called today inside the timesheet/payment portal. I spoke with a cs representative name Lashonda. I really appreciate her calmness and knowledge. The portal had way more information than I was working it, together we were able to identify my status, why there was a hold up and how to better work the system. I appreciate my current knowledge. Thanks Lashonda, shout out to you! I take full responsibility in my own learning
Awful, horrible, disgust people work here. How do you even sleep at night? Can’t even get a call back- it’s been 3 weeks. Been dealing with the Nightmare since October. I hope you all get treated the way you treat people. Maria Reyes is a waste of oxygen same as her supervisor Myala Garcia and her supervisor Mr. Ramirez. Guess you have to go to them yelling and screaming and cause a scene to get a response or call back.
This place is a total disaster! Their system for contacting is the worst on the planet. Never have I experienced anything as bad as them. They should read their reviews and actually take heed and make some serious changes! *It was hard to keep this review as clean and non explicit as possible.
They stop providing me with time sheets, Me and my recipient tried to call the automated service and it wont recognize our providers/recipient #. Also i tried to call the social worker assigned to my recipient case and no answer. Idk what eles to do or who to call. Can i just show up at the office and talk to someone?
They give you a number, can’t get anyone to answer the number that was given to you by Harold Alexander.
I have worked for i ihss since the year 2000, and i like it. It's its a process, but it pays off, you git to do your part also
First of all when u call this number it doesn’t allow you to press an option. Therefore, you are an unable to speak to a respresentative and when you do they are not help full and some incompetent in doing there job. They make almost everything impossible when submitting paperwork.
Most poorly run operation in America. There is never anyone available to answer the phone or call you back. I spent MONTHS trying to resolve an issue that was THEIR FAULT. The amount of time and stress it takes to get the services my family is supposed to get is so awful. I would not give it any stars but I am forced to.
No returned calls to Next of Kin regarding EVERY SINGLE CARETAKER taking advantage of Deceased man's credit cards and debit cards.there is no phone number for a supervisor named Ms. Gonzalez per Robert Sahakian's voicemail. Would give no stars but i'm forced to give one.
