Do your research. If you plan on trading in a car, make sure you know the value of your trade in. I was told that I would get $3,500 for my car and after the deal was signed, I saw that they only gave me $3,000. The next day, the dealership where I purchased the trade in car returned my call and offered me $5,000. I asked Kirby Kia right away (in person) if they would give me my trade in back and allow me to get an additional $2,000. I was told that the deal was signed and there was nothing I could do. The salesman "Pip" was awesome. Everyone above him has lost my trust and respect. The way the manager spoke to me and carried himself was unprofessional. Nice before the deal was signed and rude after. Do not shop here.

These guys are fantastic. I've been going to kirby kia for 6 years and the staff is excellent. Friendly and very helpful. They will do what it takes to get you in the car you want for a fair price. Once you get a car here you will come back again and again.

Every time I come to Kia it’s always an amazing experience. Chico takes good care of my car while it’s in service and the sales staff keep me entertained while I wait.

The dealership is always clean and aside from their waiting area TV being messed up, it’s an easy task to wait for my car to be done.

Definitely worth the 85 mile drive from home.

Great experience with Jim Read and the rest at Kirby Suburu of Ventura. I didn't feel any pressure and they were very helpful with any questions I had. Jim went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Thanks!

I bought a 2016 Kia Sorento from here on September 30th and the sales person David Sanchez whom helped me was so nice and helpful with everything. My husband and I have been looking at the Kia Sorentos and went to this location because of the friendly service we read about online. As we got there David approached us and we told him exactly what we were looking for and weren't looking to be haggled with like we got at some of the other dealerships we went to. David was on the same page as we were and helped us with our needs to find us the vehicle we wanted. We were there for awhile as expected when buying a car, but David was so nice he bought my family lunch because of the long wait. I would definitely recommend Kirby Kia of Ventura for the helpful service and friendly staff.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Kirby Kia, especially David Sanchez is hands down the BEST, most honest, no pressure salesman Ive ever encountered during my process of finding and buying a new car.
Kirby Kia is the place you want to go if you are looking for a new or used car. They treated us with respect, didnt try to pressure us to sign anything, answered all our questions, and still after they got the sale they have contacted us several times asking if there was anything they could do, any questions we had etc.
I couldnt be more impressed with their outstanding customer service, honesty and transparency throughout the whole process.
THANKS DAVID SANCHEZ, AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT KIRBY KIA YOURE THE BEST!

Sam Emerson made everything completely smooth and her personality is so radiant! She lit up the room. The process of purchasing the vehicle started off very slow but Sam made sure everyone rushed and kept it convenient for us. If you are ever in need of a car Sam is the girl to go to!

Sales consultant; David, Sanchez. Great Customer Service. Helped me from beginning to end to find the car that i wanted. I was very satisfied by his service. I would totally recommend to go to him if you’re trying to buy a car.

Bought a car from these guys. Everyone was super helpful and pleasant (finance guy maybe not so much). The salesperson Miguel I would recommend to everybody. He made the whole experience great. He made me completely comfortable with my purchase and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I love my new car!

I've never had such a smooth, comforting, and trustworthy experience at a dealership! I initially walked in wanting a Niro and fell in LOVE with my new 2018 Kia Soul +. David Sanchez was such a breath of fresh air walking into the dealership, I was reassured that I was in control of my own preference in a vehicle and he did not make me feel pressured at all! I will recommend everyone I know to go through David because he is very honest and was genuinely happy for me and my new car! He is a real gem to that dealership.

Special shout out to the Finance Manager, Jose Valdivia! He has the patience of a saint (I was there from 6: 30pm-12: 30am)! I wasn't the easiest customer to negotiate with and he handled it like the professional he is. He really went above and beyond with getting me exactly where I wanted to be.

The entire Kirby team that I worked with was professional and never once made me feel pressured into making one of the biggest purchases a person can make (besides a house). Thank you, I can't stop boasting about my car!

My complaint is mostly with the service department. I went in to get a routine service and they told me that I had to have another servicing done that unfortunately would have to be scheduled another day since it would (as they stated) take 1-2 hours to have it done. We scheduled to have the service done a couple weeks out and that was totally fine. I then called the Wednesday before my appointment to see if I could push it from 11: 30am to 12pm since I had another obligation that ended at 11: 15 and given that it takes me 30 minutes to drive there. They told me that they could not reschedule at that time because this specific service/recall was going to take 5 hours. I had kindly told them that when I had talked to the servicing department in person and they had said it would take 1-2 hours.they reassured me that that was not the case. So, I asked if I could receive a rental car so I could get my daughter (which the car salesperson had said they do) the servicing person said they would put that in. Fast forward to the day that I got my service, they told me that they don't do rental cars for recalls, only for servicing and that the service was going to take 3 hours. I told them that I had to get my daughter and requested a rental car on Wed and the person who answered was going to put my request in. They refused. But told me that I could be offered a ride somewhere. I was livid with the miscommunication that was going on. Then, I decided to make the best of it and got a ride to the collection. It ended up getting pretty cold, so at 2.5 hours, I called for a ride back, thinking that my car would be done in the next 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes was up, I went to check in and they told me that it would be another 30 minutes before the servicing was finished. 45 minutes later, the car was finally finished and I was able to leave. Also, as I was about to get my car, a salesperson tried to get me to sell back my car.even though I bought it in sept. I am disappointed in my experience here at the service department and will be looking elsewhere to service my car.

Also, after I bought my car here in September from Eian, I felt like there was way too much pressure from the company to give him a good review on the survey. He told me that even if the questions did not seem like they applied to him, they do and he has to be given a perfect score to get his bonus/money or what not. This, in turn, made me feel kind of bad, because I wasn't displeased with his customer service, but there were other parts of the process which I did not like, even though it had nothing to do with the service he provided. Unfortunately, my internet ended up crashing and the survey got lost. I talked to him directly later to see if I could get another since it was known that it wasn't sent in. There was nothing that we could do and he lost his bonus/money.

My husband has bought his last two vehicles from this dealership and everyone went out of their way to give us a great deal and make the purchase an easy process. I'm sure you all know how long it can take to finalize a purchase and do the paperwork but they made it as easy and quick as they could. His first vehicle was a 2012 Kia Sorento and then he traded it in for a 2016 Sorento because he loves this vehicle so much! Kenny has raved about his Sorento's so much that his daughter decided to buy one last week and once again the dealership went over and above to make a great deal for her. We highly recommend this dealership!

AMAZING customer service! Strongly recommend seeing Shawn Moretti. Shawn assisted me every step of the way to my new Kia and helped me out with rebates and any discount he could. Not once was I treated with disrespect. Unlike most places, he didn't push me into a corner and force something upon me that I didn't like or feel uncomfortable with where instead he put the ball in my court. Thanks again Shawn!

I told Eian what I was looking for in a car and he found one that was perfect for me. Eveyone was very nice to deal with. They gave me a very fair amount on my trade in car. I would recommend Eian and Kirby Kia to my friends and family.

Recently I have acted as a co-signer on a vehicle purchased in November of 2017. It was not until early December the buyer was advised they required a co-signer. Upon acting as a co-signer the dealership contacted me to collect my information, and the gentleman who called me was nothing short of the most inarticulate moronic human being I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. He failed to spell any part of my information correctly (despite me providing the majority of this online), could not pronounce my name (after multiple corrections), forgot my contact information, transposed numbers and generally had no customer service skills at all.
After this I had no communication from the dealership and had to call multiple times to check the status after getting multiple loan denials. When we were approved, which no one ever told me, the paper work was to be over-nighted to my parents’ home on 12/18/2017…it showed up 10 days later. The dealership accused me of not providing them the correct mailing information.
On multiple occasions I spoke with a sales/financial representative name Sean who was beyond insulting to me as a woman. When I asked how many times our credit had been run he assured me only 3 times, however when I advised the number of letters I received and the reports on my Experian website indicated a total of 9 he told me I was wrong. When asked why so many times he inferred that I should “look into why I’m not an adequate cosigner” and that I didn’t understand the process. It wasn’t until I demanded to speak to a supervisor (Carlos), who I had asked for initially and been told wasn’t available, that I was given at least some kind of understanding of what was going on. Granted I was told everything was good to go, not surprisingly…it wasn’t.
We were finally put in touch with a gentleman named Jose in the finance department, he is the single redeeming factor of this entire company. He was kind, patient, and intelligent. He answered all the questions I had, called me with updates and ensured our deal with completed. Unfortunately, despite Jose getting involved they still messed up our paper work and as a result they had to have a driver bring all the paperwork back to me to sign, AGAIN. This is the most ridiculous mess I have ever had to deal with.
Do NOT buy a car here, do NOT deal with this company, and if you absolutely must come in with a pre-approved loan and a lawyer standing over them to ensure they do not screw up.

1/26/2018 Let me just add, someone called me to apologize, and I admit this is very big of anyone thank you, but then proceeded to confused me with the actual buyer (who's name they didn't pronounce correctly), thought I had been in the dealership (nope I live in San Diego, not Ventura) and proceeded to tell me how frustrated they were with the situation because they hadn't gotten paid. Seriously? I have nothing more to say but let me reiterate do NOT go to this dealership under any circumstances because they "may not get paid. "
