Support staff is very helpful, and the clinic was very accommodating for small children. Sometimes the dentists aren't available/present, which is odd, but didn't affect my care for the services I needed.

I went into the office for the first time, and everyone was professional they took their time and made sure my teeth were receiving the best care possible!

I have been a patient at La Jolla Happy Smiles for years now and there is a reason for that. Eddie is the BEST hygienist I've ever had. He's very experienced, knowledgeable and offers great care advice. I always enjoy my twice yearly appointments with him. Dr. Shepard is a great dentist and she cracks me up. She is so personable and tells the funniest stories - although she shouldn't because it's hard to laugh during dental work. I feel very well cared for at this office and will continue to be a patient for many more years.

They did some fillings on my teeth and didn’t test my bite like every other dentist and didn’t grind off the unevenness, and when I told them my bite is now uneven, they suggested that something was wrong with my teeth shape and tried to convince me to get braces. (I didn’t even need braces when I was a teenager because I have naturally straight teeth!) A week later I can’t take the uneven bite from the over applied fillings anymore, I went back and tell them to grind it off. Guess what, they ground off part of my real teeth and I have 3 pain spots on my teeth after that.
