Larchmont Bungalow Cafe reviews
21This place is very cute, great for a work from home day or to read a book and sip some coffee. Brought my dog and they make doggie food. The burrito was fat and delicious
Service was pretty rough. Not very friendly, not attentive. Atmosphere is great though, beautiful location. The food was pretty bleh. Bacon was over cooked, eggs were so so. The only redeeming thing about the food was the red velvet pancakes with honestly was one of the best things I’ve ever had. It’d be the only I’d go back. Lemonades are small, extremely expensive, full of ice, and don’t taste like anything special. Parking also isn’t the best in that area.
Beautiful place with plenty of seating inside and outside. You order inside and your food comes out fairly fast, the bussers are very attentive with anything you need to get out of the way or to provide you anything you're missing. The food was delicious and fresh, my Benedicts were cooked perfectly and the drink was yum. Delicious meal and beautiful weather.
This is such a cozy adorable cafe for a casual yet elevated breakfast/brunch/ lunch experience. Our local friends suggested this spot due to its quick service, nice ambience with ample greenery and garden feel, as well as consistently good food.
I am so glad we stopped in. Service was efficient and quick. My eggs benedict were poached perfectly and the brioche toast and thick bacon were so good. The menu is extensive so there is something for everyone. I would definitely return for a weekend brunch.
Indoor/outdoor cafe that was very cozy in the middle of the city. We had a leisurely breakfast on out last day in LA.
I got a fresh pressed juice to hide from the LA sun and this cafe was so cute. Some people working with their laptops and loads of seating. They have a chamomile honey latte I’d love to try next time.
Beautiful place but bad food.
Spend $40 on mimosas with a cup of orange juice….
The the food itself was beyond disappointing.
Dennys would be a better substitute.
The French toast was so bland and stale.
The potatoes were subpar.
The bacon was good.
We were asked to move by a gentleman wearing a collar shirt and he was asking other patrons how everything was.
I told him no. We were here first and there was no other tables available so I’m going to stay here and not wait for another table.
Any who it was about $83 and some change was wasted on a cup of orange Juice with two mediocre dishes that would have better spend even at Starbucks.
Thanks guys!
Had the Jambalaya Scramble. Great! Good Cold Brew. Staff is friendly and efficient. It's an "order at the counter, get a number for your table, food gets delivered" kind of service. Delightful patio seating. What's not to like? Parking can be a challenge at this busy location, but I lucked out this time.
Cozy, tasty and staff very nice. Only the hot chocolate had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste
Got takeout. Got a salad. A little underwhelming and dressing was a bit too sweet. Not much going on other than kale and tiny pieces of mango and walnut.
This place was delish! Im not too picky with coffee but this one in particular tasted really good and the breakfast was amazing!
Food ordering area was a bit unfriendly but its understandable with how busy it is there.
Came to LA for an appointment and had time to kill found this place by chance driving by and best food, service and music! You definitely have to try this place! You will not be disappointed
Great patio with lots of shade. Seafood omelet and French toast were amazing. Just a little clunky getting coffee. Last thing brought to the table with no cream. Everything else was sheer perfection. Can't wait to return.
I was trying to give this place another shot, since I had had not great experiences in the past, but I will never be back. I ordered the latkas and lox, but my eggs were very underpoached and they didn't even put the sour cream on the plate. My partner ordered the quinoa breakfast bowl, but they gave him the quinoa pancakes, because they didn't pay attention to his order. When we asked them to remake mine, they told me "that's what a poached egg looks like". Um, no. Even though we didn't eat anything, they still charged us for half the meal. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
I was there this morning.
I was very surprised with how attentive and friendly the staff is.
Food did not disappointed was fresh and tasty.
I’ll definitely come back.
A hidden gem. Parking can be a little a tricky but the food is amazing. Counter service only but there is a host that is on the floor serving food and providing table services. The menu has many items to choose from and the food was delivered quickly and hot. I would come back again and again.
Delicious breakfast in a cozy, nicely designed outdoor patio setting (nice large indoor space as well). Friendly, super fast service!
Great indoor and shaded outdoor seating options. Convenient hours. Counter serve. I recently had the vegan green enchiladas and they were pretty tasty
This is one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends for breakfast or brunch. Everyone can pay separately and the decor is lovely. This place has a nice vibe. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of day you go.
Been here a couple of times for breakfast and I love it. The food is great and the ambiance in their garden is pretty good. Even though the place seems busy I haven't had any issues finding an open table.
