Los Angeles LGBT Center reviews
37Amazing place. Staff is super awesome and friendly. Always clean. Still the best place for any help one needs. Medical, dental, mental, legal, housing, jobs, entertainment. Truly a diamond in the rough of this city!
Friendly, helpful. Good resources. Lady in the lab the phlebotomist was gentle and good at her job.
Do not use the LGBT center's psychiatrists or their pharmacy. I've been coming here for 3 years. For the "biggest lgbt center in the world" their services as abysmal.
They don't answer their phones ever, they ignore important requests for prescription refills, their staff are snotty and send you to dead end voicemails with a "promise" of getting back intouch asap. 0% of my voicemails have ever been answered.
The saddest part is, this is people mental health. Getting off of certain meds is dangerous and you dont seem to care at all.
Read your reviews - Theres a lot of people saying the same thing. Its grim
This facility is very nice and great but they need to open up and allow their patients to come in and see their doctors. The state of California opened on June 15th 2021 and lifted all restrictions.
I've been a patient and client of the LGBT Center for 12 years. I am grateful for their existence and commitment to our community to offering a wide variety of services. If you need assistance just give them a call, chances are if they can't help you with your circumstance, they will most likely know someone who will.
This clinic is amazing! Doctor are so kind and they really really listen to your needs.
Highly recommended! ’
This place is absolutely incredible! Their staff is so accommodating and responsive, and you can communicate via their app. If you are an LGBTQ+ person in LA and looking for a safe place to get care, this place is for you!
I like the fact that a one stop shop medical facility can exist in one building. Physical and mental health and pharmacy to accommodate the needs of so many people who can feel comfortable and without judgement. Great staff and a safe place to feel taken care of however you need to be taken care of. A true feeling of family.
For how much business they get clinic lacks great service not from personnel they are great well some no
The LGBT Center has been wonderful to me. The employees and volunteers work hard, friendly and my doctor is TOP NOTCH
Great improvements in customer services and resources for all health related issues. Very Welcoming atmosphere.
They provide great services for the LGBTQ community. Easy no judgement testing and mental health services.
Amazing place. Whether it's for someone to talk to, medical attention, or to find out what's going on in the community. Everyone is amazing. Staff is kind and patient.
Love this place I've been coming here since the early 90s is changed a lot the clinic was called to Pedro Zamora Clinic now it's called Jeffrey Goodman again God bless this place in the name of Jesus Christ I am a man of God God loves all of his creations thank you for this place they have mental health aids and HIV education psychological doctors men's and women's process group trans people groups LGBT Q services they do not discriminate
I would give it 5 stars but I hate needles. And I have to go there to draw blood which sucks cuz it involves needles.
Thorough and respectful health services for LGBTQIAU (QUILTBAG haha) individuals. They have social workers, psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, labs, a pharmacy and more all under one roof. They have a sliding scale payment system, and they take insurance. I wish healthcare was this comprehensive everywhere!
Great facility in the LA area. They are fast, informative and they are always very polite. Even when it’s really busy. The nurses are great and in particular Reina. She is always so nice, quick you can tell she is good at her job. Thank you guys for being part of the community and helping us.
Great staff. Long wait though. I love it here. I feel at home, they know what they need and how to treat people. You’re not just another patient to them.
Always a terrible experience. Center needs to get it together. Have been here many times over 6 years and they are never helpful. Almost all of the people I have encountered at the front desk have been completely rude. There are much better places to go in LA.
If you want to get a professional medical treatment, get test results sent to you, get pre op test results sent to your surgeon, get anyone to call you back with information or be treated with like a respected patient.this clinic isn’t for you. The best thing about this place are the movies playing in the lobby.
