Lowe's Home Improvement reviews
27What can I say it's lowes cool place to shop but very hard to find someone to help you with trying to find something specific. They have had always a lack of customer to help ratio. But on their defense it's a very big store and they carry so many things it's hard to help everyone especially if your in a hurry.
We set-up an appointment on 6/26/21 for a FREE consultation for a wooden fence in our back yard. The appointment was schedule from 7/1st at 4: 00 PM. A Scott Potts called around 10: 00 AM to ask if he could come now, because one of his appointment cancelled. We were out an never returned his called. At 4: 10 PM when Scott didn't show up for the 4: 00 PM appointment I called and Scott stated he called to see if he could come early, but could come at the scheduled time of 4: 00, because he shows the appointment for tomorrow 7/2nd. I'm holding the paperwork in my hand for 7/1th. I called the store Lowe's Mid-City and left a message for the manger to call. This guy should not be doing appointments. A waste of time.
The service here for ordering appliances is horrible. Basic assistance in store is great!
Even some of the workers complain about their own managers.i feel for those workers.
Man this place has the worst customer service. Pandemic or not it's always been really bad.and that's almost in every department.can never get help, and when u do it's like if we are asking to get things for free.that's how bad it is.haven't been to another lowes but hope they are better
To be honest I usually prefer lowes over home depot. But this time I lost 3.5 hours of my labor because one of their employees put a defective product [with a defective product stamp on the bottom of the box] back on the shelf. We purchased the fan, took it home and I assembled it and installed it. It took 3.5 hours. After I picked Lara up from work we took it back and pi led up one that was not defective. I installed it and it worked. It took less time because I did not have to read the assembly instructions or spend time trouble shooting why the first one did not work. The se ond one is up and running. Now my cell phone does not charge unless I turn it off and I blame Lowes and Home Depot for that as well
I was building a raised bed garden planter box for a neighbor. Another neighbor came by and borrowed my circular saw so I went to get some screws. When I finally asked him for the saw he said he left it on the table in the garden.
I checked online and Lowes had a sale in cordless at a great price and the same brand as my drill. I walked in, asked where the saw was and the employee took me right to it and I was second in the checkout line. Old saw not even a memory now. Great end to a negative experience. No hangover!
I used to LOVE this Lowes and the staff. I have been going here for the past 6 years. They have always been helpful. But this past experience was the worst, EVER.
EXPECT POOR service here from Yesenia Dominguez and her staff. We pulled into the parking lot (Verteran Parking spot since both my husband and I are Veterans) and saw a sign saying, "$4 for 10". We loaded 10 bags on the cart. Isabel, the cashier, said that the price is actually 4 for $10. We told her about the sign. We asked to speak with a manager so they could correct it. A lady, who refused to give us her name, came over with an attitude and the advertisement. She showed us the advertisement, which we stated the sign is advertising something different. My husband began to explain that he is a manager, but she cut him off by saying "I don't care that you are a manager" and then walked away. She had the cashier call the Assistant Manager. The lady, who we were told is Yesenia, had taken off her name badge and walked off while we waited. Eventually Yesenia Dominguez (another Yesenia) came over holding the same advertisement and stating the same thing as the previous rude Yesenia. We showed her the photo of how they have it advertised outside of their store along with the words "Price Match Guaranteed". Yesenia D.began to argue that it didn't matter what their sign showed or how we interpret the sign, that the advertisement in the flier is the true price. My husband asked to speak with her supervisor, which she called her supervisor. Yesenia hung up the phone and said to us, "Okay, we'll do it".
No apology from her for her or her staffs demeanor. It took us about 15 minutes to load the mulch and then we went nextdoor to Starbucks. We arrived back to our truck about 30 minutes later, only to find that the signs were still up. I believe this location is using Bait and Switch tactics to mislead customers.
More than likely they'll have what you want and the staff to help you find it. I have a pleasant experience every time I go into Lowe's.
Ashanti and the other employees are very helpful when an item wouldn't Scan they were friendly to my service dog and a bulb all professional and courteous
Ms. Helen is the fairest and bestest Manager at the Mid City location. Thank you Lowes for having a caring professional like her on the Lowes management team.
Rude staff. I spent 2 hours shopping and not once did a representative offer assistance. Not returning to this store in this area.
The store is great but the parking structure has Shady people riding around on bikes looking in vehicles so beware they need security guard or something out there I didn't see none
Pros: Very clean and organized store. Knowlegable and helpful staff. Program to catalog receipts to make returns easy.
Cons: seems to be geared more to the dyi customers (great for them) than contractors (seemingly limited selection on certain products such as electrical). Usually very long wait times in line especially in the returns (seems to be the norm at most big box renovation stores).
Has nearly everything you might need in tools and hardware. Good selection of materials. Hope they adopt some of the superior organization and selection practices of their, now closed, division OSH.
Customer service is very poor when you ask for help, they talk to customers like they all in a bad mood or they don't want to be there you don't feel welcome
Had to wait almost an hour to pull my order and to get to door. Not much into customer satisfaction
Lowe's has just about everything you will need. Lots of folks to help you find what you're looking for. Plenty of parking. Give them a try.
Regular Lowe’s experience but what I will say is that the location is very confusing. Driving around this area you see signs for Lowe’s, Chipotle, Bob’s Discount Furniture, etc.and when you get to where all these are located up on the top level there’s no Lowe’s. Later discovered it’s on the bottom floor by itself. Was confusing at first and isn’t really clear with signs posted.
Although they had quite a selection of the items I was interested in. It was difficult to get someone to help me with my selection. They were quite busy and perhaps were a bit understaffed.
Lots of selection on a whole variety of things but tends to be difficult finding people to help you. I waited 20 minutes for someone just to get some keys cut!
