Department Store Macy's reviews
38I like their selection and generally can find bargains if you look. Problem is that they cut back on staff so on busy days the racks start to get messy and too few of the pay stations are staffed.
Love it for kids clothing. Specifically little girls. Not a big selection for little boys and hit or miss for women's clothing. If they have a sale, men's shirts can be a good price.
Still good place to shop for various products, but we think the selection getting more limited.
This Macy’s location in South Coast Plaza has the biggest dress selection by far. Whole third floor is full of all kind of dresses. For Any occasion you will be able find great cocktail dress or a gown for discounted price. Dressing rooms have some lines once in a while, but it’s not biggie.
Was having a hard time finding a cocktail dress. At Macy's had quite a selection. I was very happy.
One of my favorite department stores. I always like to walk inside the store. They always great deals.
Was surprised I was able to find everything I needed for my sister, a gown, heels, and jewelry. Thought I'd have to store hop but macys is really a one-stop shop. The gown cashier forgot to take off the sensor on the gown but I noticed it before I left.
Great shopping experience! Found what I needed for a dress to wear for a wedding after trying on many. Also Melissa Stevens was very helpful with shoes that I needed.
Better than the other big department stores at this mall for selection but the prices are high.
Great selections of various clothes brands, housewares, furniture and bedding products. Sales usually start around Thursdays or Fridays and end till the weekends.
Arrived to an almost completely empty store close to closing to try out a mattress. Took off my shoes, put in my earbuds, and was almost immediately informed I could not stay there. Despite the fact that the store was almost completely deserted, NO ONE was on any of the other mattresses, and I was disturbing no one, the manager refused to let me stay there simply because "someone MIGHT show up and want to try it out. " Yeah, show up to this almost empty store and, out of the hundreds of totally empty mattresses, use the exact one I'm sitting on?
A terrible and insulting experience. This is not how a store should treat their customers. If you think you can go to Macy's to try out their products, think again. Avoid and shop elsewhere (preferably online).
Most of my experiences here have been hit or miss but this last time I was frustrated. I had bought some pants that cost me slightly over $50. A couple weeks later I decided I wanted to use the pants and noticed that they had failed to remove the security device. When I went to the store they offered me a $5 discount. I spent more money on gas having to return to the store as well as my own personal time for a mistake that MACYS made not me. Then they told me my other option was to return the item. The $5 was a slap in the face to me so I decided for a full refund and that they wouldn't get any of my money
Very helpful staff in the furniture department. Good selection of sofas, however I could not find traditional coffee table. I wish escalators would work.
There is no customer service in this place.in addition, in closing time we trapped inside for while, and my mom is a handicap we're forced to wake from certain place for about 30 hour.
Great customer service at this location. My wife and I came here to buy a new mattress for Black Friday. Fay helped educate us on the different types of mattresses and the reason for the huge difference in price. She was honest and really encouraged us to take our time to really select something we would be comfortable with.
You can buy a mattress at any Macy's location or even on their website. However this location is ideal if you need some good advice and guidance.
The customer service here is great. I have bought a couch and a mattress from this location and both times the staff was very good to me. I also like the selection here as the macy's is big and has plenty of choices.
I purchased a couch and a bed set from Macy's in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA and was sold a $300 warranty for 5 years called "Macy's Worry No More"
On year 2, I had a small tear and called the service, opened a claim after being on the phone for 30 min, the claim was denied, asked to speak with a supervisor, I was sent to voice mail which is never returned.
I'm extremely furious!
This a Macy's Home store, with furniture and items for the kitchen. Very bland style, and feels overpriced for what you get.
