Mancini's Sleepworld Mountain View reviews
26 Bottom line: Store salesman was just not interested in understanding our needs and selling the right type of mattress. We ended up walking out after being insulted and made a deal with a competitor; a place where we were valued as customer.
More info: We liked a super high end mattress because of the feel and the salesperson said "the prices are like apple products.they are what they are" and then left it at that. We respected that and proceeded to look around the store. At that point the salesperson let us be and allowed us to look around without offering many alternatives or talking to us about our budget and trying to see what else could fit in that budget. We finally walked back to him and said we needed to think about our strategy and he responded "maybe you need to". We felt that was rather rude.he could have said "that's fine. Talk to you soon" and left it at that.
We went to Mattress Firm 2 miles down on El Camino and Troy in the store decided to make sure we tried mattresses in a logical manner and find the one that worked for us. Then he worked with the price. He showed us the same "apple" variety and said there wasn't much he could do with price but worked to find us a comparable feel that was much lower in price. We didn't have expectations of taking a $4000 mattress for quarter of the price but we knew there was a via medium which Mattress Firm was willing to explore and Mancini's just didn't care. Mancini's lost out on an opportunity. We were looking to spend about $1K for a mattress but because of Troy's logical salesmanship, we ended up spending almost $1700 and walked out thinking we got a good deal. I wonder why Mancini's pay the guy on the street to hold the sign when the sales team is just not interested in selling.
We've been buying our mattresses from this store for many years and have always been happy with their customer service. They always go above and beyond to help us pick the best mattress for our needs at the best price. Jim, the store manager is our go-to guy!
I had a very positive experience at Mancini's. Bryan Becker was my mattress specialist. He explained the differences between various mattresses and was patience while I asked numerous questions. I purchased a mattress and adjustable base.
A wonderful experience! I went in and Anthony Cooper was super super helpful and great to work with. I gave a price point and he helped me stick to that and they were so nice about getting me the bed as soon as possible.
Absolutely the BEST selection of Tempurpedic Mattresses and pillows. Jim Burkhardt, the Store Manager, is AMAZING (over 35 years service) and will guide you with his professional advice and knowledge. I just received my second Tempurpedic mattress from Mancini’s and their delivery team was super fast and friendly. I will be back for all my future mattress needs. Go see Jim and you won’t be disappointed!
