Mend Urgent Care

Mend Ugent Care’s new location at 1701 West Verdugo Ave, is great! Very sterile, open, with friendly staff from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctor that saw me. Everyone was patient and knowledgeable, and still had me in the system from their old location off Olive (now Angel Wings Medical Associates). Many thanks to the manager Evette for her knowlege with running an efficient facility.

Called during open hours. Got an automated "You have reached us after hours" message. Welp.

Terrible front end staff. Very rude doctor who spoke to my child in a very harsh way. I would not recommend the people at all. I am British and surprised to see such bad service when they are taking money from us.

I have been going to this urgent care for several years. I have always had excellent experiences there. I have a son that gets strep throat all the time and my daughter seems to hurt herself a lot. All of this always happens on the weekend of course. If I could I would use them as our family doctors (sometimes it seems like we already do) and the sister urgent care in Glendale is equally as good as this one.

It was quick and painless. Very knowledgeable staff with friendly attitudes, great team work between the nurses and the doctors, and expecially the x ray technician that came in and was kind and vibrant. The doctor was very easy to talk to and overall well held title by a professional. Thanks again. I'd recommend if near burbank.

Ended up here today while on vacation. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews, but everyone was extremely pleasant to deal with. From reception, to the nurse, to the doctor himself. Got my husband and I sorted out quickly and thoroughly.
The facility itself is a little older, and that might bother some, but I'm more interested in the staff, and they were great.

Took my son there last night they told me I have not met my deductible. They said my portion was 157.00. If I did not have insurance it would of been 136.00. What a scam. I should of said I had no insurance.

New management!
Visit with Insurance = $157.
Visit without Insurance = $130.
Go figure.
