We enjoyed an impeccable dinner here to celebrate. The duck confit gnocchi appetizer forces you to start the meal slowly, as both the duck and gnocchi are so rich that you must pause and savor every bite. My mom's roast was cooked to perfection, narrowly edged out by my delicate yet complex halibut with mushroom risotto. However, my wife's choice astonishingly blew away the competition. Her duck à l'orange was tender enough to melt with the perfect blend of savory, tart, and sweet flavors. Next time we go, I get to choose first (I'm getting that duck).
