27A smaller grocery store, but with great items. Plus there is a bakery and several restaurants inside as well.
This is a great Japanese market/food court in Irvine. Their fresh sushi-grade fish is well-priced and delicious, anything you need to make a family meal is easy to find and if you aren't wanting to make dinner yourself, go to the back of the store for amazing ramen at "Hokkaido Ramen Santouka". All of my family love coming here!
This Mitsuwa may not be as big as the Costa Mesa location, but it is still a great place! I would recommend this place to anyone who is into anything related to Japanese culture, whether it be food, customs, etc.
Smaller than the Mitsuwa Market we shop at in San Diego, not as big of sushi selections, but still good enough to find several fresh sushi offerings.
Worth the drives from NC vs. San Diego, absolutely not! S. D.market is far superior, but still we spent well over a hundred bucks on pretty good looking sushi!
Nice Japanese grocery store in Irvine. They have wide variety of natto and other uniquely Japanese foods. The store is a bit pricey (as most of the Japanese stores in USA are). The regular groceries (that are available in American grocery stores) are expensive here. Overall, a good place to explore Japanese food in Orange County.
Fast and tasty curry rice dishes (among other stuff) and there are tables and chairs so you don’t have to stand and eat like the curry rice place I tried in the Tokyo subway. Be thankful you can sit down and savor the curry flavor!
Go squared2 and Santouka have good food options! One of the best places inside Mitsuwa, even though it's a small location.
