Currently living in this community. I think one of the best community in Irvine. Good management. (Brennan) manager address any issues of the residents that may have, when talk about maintenance. David is the person to call. Exceptionally talented and knowledgeable with friendly attitude.
If someone wants to move. Murano apartment is the place I recommend

Their maintenance service is very friendly and professional. It's been two years since I've been a resident of this place, and I'm very satisfied and happy.

One of the managers of the place literally crashed into my husband’s car, and had the nerve to get angry and accusatory towards him when she’s the one who hit him. Then he bought her water to calm her down, instead of her checking to see how he’s doing. He has excruciating back pain from it now. Not worth being treated like that at all.

It said it is smoke free community, but it’s not!
I can always see neighbors enjoying smoking on their balcony. And unfortunately, the smoke goes into our home.
We have two kids (one of which is a newborn) at home most of the time due to pandemic. I can not tolerate the situation that my kids have to smell the smoke everyday!
So I made several complaints to the Murano service team, but, nothing improved. They say they are taking steps, but I totally have no idea what has been done.
If you have kids, or you want healthier life, please do not rent here.

As the previous reviewer said, the people working at the front are atrocious and rude. They will scold you for not wearing a mask when they themselves are not wearing a mask in the leasing office. I cannot stand interacting with them. Can’t wait to move out and advising everyone to not come near here.

Disappointing staff, unfortunately a lot of young people are smoking and using drugs late at night here at the property. The management does not care one bit, all they want is your money.

They will overcharge you when you move out for made up stuff. They cannot provide solid proof either. This is by far the shadiest apartment complex I have seen in Irvine.

The building maintenance staff, led now by Jorge, is fabulous! They responded immediately when my front door wouldn't lock because the building continues to shift. They repaired all the cracks in the walls recently, too! With such professional, expert support, I will want to renew my lease!

Community looks good from outside but inside is a different story, the staff are weird, fake and dishonest. I wouldn't move here ever.

They have started to have landscaping work as early as 7: 00AM almost every other day since last month.

Just as you think things can't get more ridiculous, an extremely disruptive road construction woke me up this morning around 7: 15AM.

Stay away if you can. They' converted all the units around us from carpet to laminate flooring as people move out, yet charge you to have the carpet removed. How about you use all that rent money you get to take care of it yourselves instead of charging residents to do it when they leave. Our move-out inspection even listed cleaning carpets along with removal? ! Irvine Co apartments love to nickel and dime you when moving out no matter how clean you leave the apartment, so keep that in mind. Residents never get their security deposits back and almost always owe money. They allow residents to park overnight at red curbs which became a hazard in the community because it created blind corners. I wouldn't recommend living at this community.

This is easily one of the worst communities I've ever stayed in. The management couldn't care less about the well beings of their tenants/residents.

It would be a huge mistake to rent here If you are either

- a light sleeper
- someone who wakes up late in the morning
- someone who works from home regularly

Let me first say that the noise insulation of their buildings is close to nonexistence. My apartment is on the third floor and faces directly to a swimming pool. I can discern every single word from people talking to each other in front of the pool even with my windows shut! The noise level from 5pm to 10pm sometimes get really unbearable as people coming to the pool area to party. So good luck if you plan to set a home office here.

Worse yet, they do landscaping pretty much every other day in the morning as early as 7: 30AM. I've lost counts of how many times I was woken up by a loud leave-blower/chainsaw in front of my apartment. As a result I give their customer support a call and politely ask them if they could postpone the landscaping until 9: 00AM in my area. The guy tells me, in a snarky way, that almost everyone leaves for work around 7: 00AM (I don't know how he's able to get this information assuming he's not lying.). Just shut your windows and deal with it. I then ask him if he could provide me their landscaping schedule so I can have ear plugs ready the night before. He says he doesn't know it either. Finally, I explain to him that I usually work night shift and ask if they could at least start the work in other areas first where people leave before 7: 00AM. He replies maybe.

Of course no change has been implemented since the call. Two weeks later they are still starting early morning landscaping from the pool area right in front of my apartment. I sent an email to complain about the situation yet again and have heard nothing from them ever since.

Stay away from Murano for your own good.

Please be aware when you are moving out, they will charge a lot of money for the laminated floor. Make sure you take a lot of pictures and noted in the move-in inspection log.don't even try going to customer care to solve the issue, they will not help you as well. Very bad service. Will not move to this community again.

Staying in Murano apartments Homes was the worse experience I had since I start leasing with Irvine company 6 years ago, will never recommend it and will make sure that I write this review everywhere.

First: I had the worse experience ever with the resident service office representative YAMI RIOS, she was so rude, aggressive and non professional at all that doesn’t have any sense of customer service, she made the trip to the resident service to ask for anything a very heavy trip that I didn’t want to take at all, because I know how she is not cooperating or caring at all.

For one example of many, Yami dealt with me with the very aggressive and rude way when I came to the resident office to ask for 7 days grace time for my own car that I kept getting a warning that I need to see the office for not moving the car for more than 48 hours, and I told her that I need 7 days to get a spare parts for my car in order to be able to move it as usual (knowing that I have only one car outside my garage which is that one), she replied “ you are saying that the car is broken, how you get it there in the first place? “! I replied “ I’m not lying, the car is parking in front of my apartment and you asking how I got it there “
And there are many more examples with her.

For the first time to know that Irvine company hire such a non professional and rude person to take care of the residents services!

Second: we had a very bad experience in Murano Apartment homes with cockroaches that attacked our apartment and the whole community (even my friend moved for the same reason)
Beside, this apartment homes is so noisy with even the garages doors make a very loud sound that making this apartment complex a very uncomfortable and so noisy

Irvine company couldn’t invest a little more money to make this garages doors sound less as it is in other apartment homes? Or invest with a better company that can treat the cockroaches that spread in the whole complex?

Worse experience ever.

You will be charged a lot of money when you move out. Believe me! Don't image that you could take any deposit back. Be prepared for an extra balance due after you move out. No negotiable, no proof provided, solely decided by them ~ the mourano managers. One trick they have used on me for example, they use low quality laminate floor in the kitchen, right beneath the sink. And of course any little drop of water will damage this cheap material.unless you don't use faucet and sink at all. Guess what? No matter how careful you are to maintain it, they will claim that the little uneven of flooring is your fault. They do replace the whole floor to make it look like brand new (to fish next victimt to move in) and charge the bill to you ~ the one who has no more value to them. Again, the whole process is no negotiable. I feel like I was rubbed and only want to cut all the relationship with them as soon as possible. So I just paid it. Well, this is like a scam. This apartment is disgusting ~ you just never realize it until the day you move out. I swear to God: 100% true story. If you are considering to move in.you better to think twice or more! This is a scam and according to them: "we are trying to be fair". Hahaha. Disgusting. Disgusting and disgusting!
