Newport Urgent Care

I would NEVER take anyone here again! The receptionist PALOMA is so disrespectful it is not even funny! She really should be fired for the way she treated me. I brought my sick child there at 7: 30 (which they close at 8) and she had the door locked, and proceeded to tell me from her desk with the door closed something. I could not here her through a glass door with her 20 ft away. She came to the door finally after rolling her eyes and told me they just stopped seeing patients (mind you there are 3 people in the waiting room) I told her my son had a temp and I really wanted him to be seen. Her reply was “oh well we are closed” “if he is so sick why take him here take him to the hospital” I asked to speak to the Dr and she went inside and closed the door in my face and sat at her desk. So the door is closed again and I ask her to open it I would like to speak to the DR and she ignores me, I then say I want the managers name and number and she holds up a car for me to come get (the door is closed and locked, I can’t go get it) and finally after getting upset she walks over and slips the card through the door (she refuses to open it) and gives me this F$&@ you face. Well it goes on from there, the manager has never called no one! I called my sons DR in NJ and she was amazing and got me what I needed, but I would NEVER go to this place if you paid me!

Cery friendly and helpful staff and doctors. The only thing that could be improved is the wait time - although this is nearly impossible to change at a reasonable cost to the business.

I give it a three star because even though the female nurse and doctor were great, nice, and made it more comfortable the male nurse, can’t remember his name was mean. They had to apologize on behalf. To explain, I Went today for a physical for a job requirement. The male nurse he has a thick accent so it was hard to understand sometimes was just rude and plain mean. Rushing everything, got mad when I tried to tie my shoe, when I wrote something wrong on the paperwork he said “don’t you listen”. I would do it fine it he gave me a sec to read. Like damn calm down. I think he Hispanic. Not sure.

Their service is bad the doctor don't really care about the patients well being and don't get me started on their wait time If my company insurance wasn't here I would never go I would not recommend this place for Urgent Care they are slower then a clinic

Everyone is really polite and professional, also they have snacks and drinks while you wait watching tv, overall nice service and staff

Went with my sick baby at 753pm. The guy tried to hide from me. Then lied that the doctor was gone when I told him my baby was sick. I saw them talking as I left the parking lot.

The first visit last week, it was amazing, very nice and professional staff, was asked to come back the next day for a treatment, got there 8: 15 pm, the office was closed already, although the sign says 9 pm, the receptionist just ignored us, I thought was rude, we left.

My family has been to several other walk in clinics. This one has the best staff. Everyone is responsive to customer needs. Typically patients don't sit for long periods to see a PA or Doctor. They get us in and out and on our way quickly.

Came in today early morning for an infection. It is conveniently close by to my house. The staff was great Paloma the receptionist helped me with my insurance and processed my paperwork and Leo the MA/ X-ray-tech was very kind and professional.the doctor was really nice as well. I’ve never had an urgent care visit be so easy and comforting. I hope not to come back anytime soon, but if I need urgent care I will definitely come back to this one.

The dr. I met was amazing dr. Kindra

No so much though on the male nurse side.

Needs a bit of customer/patient service orientation

I was really sick over the weekend and I needed urgent care. So I went to urgent care everyone is really nice especially paloma and leo and the doctor.

I recently had a cut on my head and did not want to go to the emergency room where I would be charged a ton of money. The staff was great, friendly and took me in right away and made sure I was not seriously injured. I ended up needing 6 stitches and it was a painless process. I would definitely go back again.

Bella is so nice to patient. She answer my every question very clear and nice. I like this urgent care.

Everybody was courteous from check-in to our experience with X-ray, the back office staff, and the very professional doctor. I am a physician and was very impressed with the treatment of my son who broke his finger.

I've been to this facility a couple times, for cough/flu and for lacerations. Its a nice facility, and the staff all seem very friendly. The doctors are helpful and very knowledgable, and are good about sharing information about the illness/cause and how to take care of yourself. I will definitely go again as needed.

The staff was slow, but this is typical of hospitals. I waited about an hour and the doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me for a possible broke fracture. I don't recommend this place to anyone. But to their credit, they did know what they were talking about. The information I managed to squeeze out of them correlated with that of research I've done.

Got there just before closing at 9pm with bronchitis. They stayed late, had the prescriptions I needed (so don't have to go to pharmacy), only charged $20 per. Friendly staff.

GREAT URGENT CARE! I recently visited Newport Urgent Care for an extremely bad sore throat. I was brought back by the friendly staff quickly and noticed that the office is very clean. The doctor came in soon and was friendly. He took the time to explain everything to me. I was even able to buy my medication there rather than have to go wait and have it filled at the pharmacy. I would definitely recommend Newport Urgent Care to everyone one.
