24Very disappointing it could be so much more than it is such a lost opportunity. The exception is the railway/ museum that's super cool. It's a great location with an interesting back story that has not been capitalized on, more effort (& money) needs to be injected into the area.
A cool bike gang rolled through, like, they were really riding bikes. And the bikes had neon lights on all of them. And a dude was practicing karate under the bridge at 9pm. And if you check out the candy shop, all the chocolate covered everythings are $4.20.
Old Sacramento was a nice area. They had all kinds of various shops. The sidewalks were still the old wooden ones and it was pretty cool to see the horse and buggy carriages that you could ride.
My wife and I had our day date in Old Sacramento this past weekend and it was so much fun. The costume shop was my favorite, you gotta go upstairs to see all the amazing costumes for sale. I just wish there were more shops open. Seems like the candy store is always closed. We loved the leather store called Leather Works and both of us bought items there. It's the only place my wife will buy her belts
