Palm Mountain Resort & Spa reviews
37Went off season full of super noisy little kids hogging the pool all day that don't know how to behave and shabby room
Fabulous location on a quiet street just off the main road. Grounds are beautiful, pool is nice, and the fire pits make a great gathering place at night. The only downside is that the rooms, while very clean, are a bit tired and in need of an update. If you don't care about that, I'd recommend this as a good place to stay in Palm Springs!
I booked my room last minute, so it was almost $300, which is expected when booking the day of. But if I’m paying that much for a room, I do expect to be able to park my car. There was no parking when I arrived, so they asked me to park in the 4 hour parking lot across the street until they could get the bus lot cleared. I called the front desk and left my phone number and asked them to call me when the lot was cleared, as my daughter and I had plans for the day, and I wanted to move my car as soon as possible so that I wouldn’t have to worry about it. They agreed to call me. 3 hours went by, and I called them again, and they told me that the lot had been cleared. I told the lady that they said they would call me, and she replied rudely that shifts change often. I received no apology. Our plans for the day had to be moved around because of this, and it really put a damper on the first part of our getaway. I even sent an email before writing this review and waited a week with no response, and still not even an apology. The room was nice, but I will not consider them for our next vacation.
I found out about the non-optional spa fee when checking in. Was not included in the advertised price. Just a pool and hot tub. Exercise facility is off site.
Best spa service and massage I’ve ever received! I came from out of town, straight from the airport, seeking a massage, a place to store my luggage, and a place to relax for a couple hours before meeting up with a friend. They provided all that and more. Free water, open access to the facilities while I waited for my appointment, an EXCELLENT massage that had me perplexed at how affordable it was, complimentary pool bag with towel, a voucher for free coffee or tea at the cafe, and to top it all off, a glass of complimentary wine. The staff were so nice, frequently checking to see if I needed anything even after my massage was done. Definitely recommend this spot for a day of spa and poolside relaxation.
Amazing location in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Nice staff but it's really just a glorified Motel
Very close to all the fun, food, entertainment, and shopping right next door! I was impressed with how helpful the stuff was, and how clean the rooms were. The only negative I have is parking, came on a holiday and it's very hard to find free, all day parking near the hotel.
Beautiful rooms. Hotel is in a great location and the pool was a great time for kids and parents to relax. The balconies are huge too. Love the vibe and landscaping. & the paths etc.
The only thing that was an issue was the wifi is terrible.it is a BIG issue for me because the only means of communication and way to organize my travel for the next day because I'm not from the usa and don't have access to a data network.
Nestled near mountain range near downtown. This resort actually really clean and nicely landscaped. A lot of rooms. Almost every room is looking towards the pool. Are room was good size and we had a basic room. Came equipped with a fridge and microwave. Bed and pillows were heaven, felt like I never left my own. Will definitely return.
It's best asset is it's location right in downtown Palm Springs but aside from that, it's just a glorified MOTEL
WIFI was so bad it was non-existent. Staff promised to reset the router but nothing changed. Also no lift.
Room is large and clean, but has a strong moldy smell.
Location is great. Close to a lot of restaurants.
Very nice hotel in a surprising nice center of Palm Springs. Beautiful rooms with shutters that give you a feeling of a beach room. In the center of the hotel a very nice pool with a spa that is used until 11pm to cool because of the heat. Very nice stay.
All rooms are near the pool, so all rooms are great. Friendly staff. Very clean and walking distance from downtown palm springs.
Beautiful hotel and centrally located as well. Close to everything. Beautuful pool and jacuzzi. The masseuse at spa are amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous. Charming view of mountain and Palm Springs. Extremely clean, with sparkling white linens, even the bed spreads were sparkling white! We will definitely return.
Great spacious rooms, pool towels provided and a great pool area. Perfect for a short relaxing get-away. We'll definitely be back!
Very clean the hotel rooms are clean and fresh. Pool water is Crystal clear. Locarion is GREAT block away from shopping and Starbucks.
Palm Mountain was awsome. If you're after a not so big/crazy resort this is it. Its small enough to relax. Staff was nice, place was clean. We'll be back!
The receptionist was very warm and helpful when we checked in (2 a.m.) She accomodated us with no problem.
The resort is older and not our cup of tea (no beach near and more of an older crowd)
