Passages Malibu

I called passages on a Sunday and wanted to fly out the same day. They told me they can not run my insurance until Monday so I waited until the following day. Monday I got a call saying my insurance pre-authorized me for two weeks. I caught a flight out Monday night. On Wednesday passages called me in the financial office and said my coverage was denied and they want me to pay out of pocket. During the three days I spent there I was strip searched three times, once on Wednesday and twice on Thursday. Also they had a police dog come and check my room on that Wednesday October 18th. After all this they found nothing and I was screamed at as I walked back to my room to pack my belongings to depart. When I got to the front gate for my ride the director came out and I said I didn't understand why all this was going on. He held up a cigarette cellophane with marijuana in it and said because they found it. I said not on me and not in my room, he proceeded to agree. So why put me through such scrutiny and nobody else. I was singled out for what reason I don't know. I believe it's because on my insurance issue. When I told them I wanted to appeal the decision with insurance it seamed they where turned off by this. They thought I would just pay because they know my financial situation. I do like the holistic approach but would not recommend passages after the scrutiny that I was subjected to.

Passages Malibu is great to me:) Actually it was outstanding experience with Passages. They didn’t leave any opportunity to make me better. I love their drug and alcohol addictions program and especially such a friendly, helpful and open-minded staff they are.

Passages Malibu is a state of the art drug treatment facility with professional, friendly and helpful staff. Their treatment program really helps, really impressed by the quality of services they offer. Anyone out there looking to go 'sober', this is the 'must visit' facility.

People shouldn't review places they have never been. I went there 5 years ago and I love it. It was exactly what I needed. Afterwards I did go to 12 step meetings and they were all for it. I hardly ever remembering hearing the word "cured. " They use the definition of cured as being restored to health.

Thus is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. I have overcome addiction by the 12 steps. Addiction is a disease, if you dont know that then go read a book

Everyone knows "once an addict, always an addict" you don't "get cured". Your commercials drive me crazy. Disgusting. Promising lies to people seeking to help and better themselves or help their family member they love. No such thing as "I was an addict for 10 yrs". You're still an addict.

I have had the opportunity to work directly with Chris who is an exceptional, positive, empathetic, and a highly emotionally intelligent human being. Every time I work with Chris and Passages, I attain a greater sense of humanity and compassion. It is great knowing that Passages knows that there greatest asset are their people! It is an honor and privilege to work with such an amazing group of individuals.
