24Took my car in for a battery change and when I picked it up, the rear windows and locks didn't work. I was told it was a coincidence and had nothing to do with how they removed and replaced the battery. Took car to the dealer and they said Pep Boys removed the battery incorrectly causing a short circuit to the rear. Costs over $900 to fix and Pep Boys didn't want to take responsibility for it. Will never go there again. Avoid this place.
I believe they might be going out of business a lot of the shelves were bare. Shop at other auto supply store that are better stocked.
I don't know if the pandemic got them rattled this year, but for some reason their quality has dramatically dropped. It's a shame, because my mom and I have been taking our cars here for years. The last time I took my car in for an oil change (May 2021) within a few days all of a sudden my 4 year old car had a screw loose that leaked out all my transmission fluid. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it was just a coincidence. Now I know something shady is going on at this place. Two days ago my mom's car needed to be serviced for an alternator. The AAA tow truck guy was sure. She had it taken to the Azusa Pep Boys and booked an online appointment since her car broke down late at night. They called her yesterday saying that it is most likely not the alt and they need to run a diagnostic test. Well $100+ and a day later today they said, is is the alt. Today she picked up the car and discovered that her car driver handle was broken. She immediately told the service desk that the handle was. The customer service guy told her it arrived like that! Then even tried to blame the tow guy! My mom happened to open the driver door to take something out after the car was delivered and just before she left it over night to be serviced in the morning. After what happened to my car and now my mom's car within just a few months we both are never going back to pep boys. There is something shady going on there and we are taking our business elsewhere.
Forgot guys name at parts counter. Went out his way, got my fuel pump. I have 62 ford. Swap motor with 302. Truck is running again.
I was there last Tuesday and was a guy on the phone but he asks me how he can help me I told him I like to do the oil changed and one of my tires have a screw but I don't know how deep was so I want them to check but I wasn't sure if they have time because I was there at 4: 10 pm so he told me yes we have time give me a second like all ways they said, after 15 min waiting because he was on the phone he told me we don't going to have time today but I can schedule you for tomorrow and I was mad I told him why you said yes and after 15 minutes waiting he said no is B. S sorry but is I don't understand because if you get any place is customer service and they don't close they have time is easy for them to do this I hope someone take care of this.
I want to have an oil change need an appointment I seen nobody in the Stalls changing oil in a diesel $249 ridiculous
My battery was not dead they tried to upsale me without even inspecting my battery or attempt ing to charge it they just tried to get me to buy a battery right as I said hello and wanted to see if my battery was good or not I'm very dissatisfied in the coustmer service at this store
Made an appointment at 9 for an oil change and change rear brakes. Didn't get my vehicle back til just before 6. I also have a fleet vehicle and they changed out my tires that barely had milage on them. They change out good tires when not needed. There shady. You'll waste your day waiting and spend more money then you have using there mechanics.
When in to drop off my car to get the check engine light looked at an to see if they fix the leak from transfer case actuator. Story short dropped it off at 11: 30 got my car back 30min before closing just to tell me all they did was run a engine diagnostic an changed my gas cap total $115.6hr just for that wasted my time

IDK, maybe he didn't like the way I look, my voice, he was on a man rag? Whatever, some companies forgot how to treat their customers. The customers that keep THEM IN BUSINESS!
Oh well, I'll be taking my business to Carquest from mow on.
The short girl (forgot her name) at the register was super nice and guided me in the right direction. (car covers) as the tall manager Tim ignored me and left the store and walked across the street.
Filthy bathroom no toilet paper and hand towels mold odor lots of graffiti to read unsatisfactory customer service from man on the phone middle eastern man and Asian cashier

He did not know what a Dash cover, Dash mat was when it finally regestered

2nd you had no samp for type of material i was asking for after looking for anout 10-15 mns of so i would have had to take them at their word zThey thought screen eas right (parts employee and asst mgr at this point i walked out A waste of time! ! ! !
Really bad service. I don’t see the point of making appointments if they still make you wait for hours. I had my car supposedly aligned and my car still pulls one way. I like how the manager takes the time to reply saying how they’re going to improve but it seems to get worse. Save yourself the time and money and take it somewhere more professional.
Slowest place I've ever been to. I was the first person in the store. Don't promise anything something if you can't do it.
I got what I went for however it was a 3.5 hr wait for tire that was covered under warranty. I did get loud when they said we can't do anything for you tonight. I think the guys name was Vinny he settled me down and said give me 10 minutes. I did apologize for flipping out even though I shouldn't have because I still have to go back and get it balanced.
Very polite employees, fixed exactly what I wanted them to fix quickly and I wasn't being scammed into buying anything I didn't need. Great auto shop
New lyft vehicle inspection center, friendly, knowledgeable staff and clean well lit, and handicapped access.
I had a nail in my tire and the previous night I went to pepboys and it was 15 minutes till closing and they said they would not be able to because they were closing but they were open Sunday come back in the morning. So I did! And guess what! The clerk said they only take appointments on sundays and were full. I have always used pepboys but this is definitely the last time I bother with them.
Pep Boys good to have every town need to get auto supplies in a hurry and paint and detail dive stuff
