Petsmart in San Juan by Costco is awesome. Mgr is Evan and he makes sure his staff provide exceptional service. If I buy a dog or cat food that my pets do not eat, Petsmart gives a full refund and exchange for my choice of a new food. They have done this many times over the years for me. I can call Evan or other employees for advice foe my dog and cat and take them to the store to guarantee a perfect fit for their clothes. They are extremely helpful when my pets are sick and walked me through last year when my 20 yr old BICHON Service dog, became very ill and spent months at San Clemente Vet in Pico plaza at the 5 Hwy. Credits for meds that sis not suit my Maggie without questions. Their store is always immaculate and friendly. Shop Petsmart for a store you may trust and believe whatever they say about all their foods. All products fully returnable if not satisfied just like Costco guarantees. I have shopped at Petsmart since they first opened. Amazing quality service. Their groomers are not as good as the store personnel, unless they changed. I witnessed a woman groomer abusing a small dog who was petrified, and after reporting her next day she was mot there any longer. Zero tolerance to any pet abuse in the grooming but stay and watch while pet is groomed to be sure. This is my 20 yr old service Bichon Maggie, who passed last month.

The staff at Banfield were great. They took well care of our two girls and explained everything about the visit for our four pawed girls. Recommended to others for pet care.

The employees are very generous as they greet you making you actually feel welcomed compared to other stores. If your thinking smart think PetSmart!

Associates make U welcome even when U bring returns back. I apprecuate that. Went and bought more new food 4 my 3 cats.

These groomers lack customer service skills they don't pay attention to the customer and when you walk in they all ignore you for a while as if they are waiting to see if one or the other groomers respond first I walked in after making my appointment over the phone just 30 minutes ago and the girl did not know why I was there knowing there was an appointment about to walk in I gave the my name and my dog's name and she still could not figure out what was going on last time I took my dog to them they left cotton balls in his ears I didn't notice until I saw my dog shaking it's it's alot I decided to give them another try again but it was worthless I just walked out and decided to pay 20 bucks more elsewhere but it was worth it

Friendly employees, clean store. Minus one star because we visited the kitties and it's just smelled horribly in there. Those kitty litter pans need to be emptied more often

I have fish and I love taking care of them. And this is where I go to take care of them at. I had a good experience there.

Not taking my small dog back for any grooming. He was a bit squirmish when getting his nails trimmmed and instead of coaxing him to calm down she yelled and yanked him, more than once. As soon as I stepped in another groomer went over to calm him. PetSmart should hire people who like animals not angry people.

As soon as I got my new puppy home I signed her up for puppy training here. Raising a puppy is hard work, and dog ownership has changed a lot since I had one as a child. I wanted to “do it right. ” I’m sooooo glad I did. Sarah Schusler is FANTASTIC. Sweet, stern, playful and extremely knowledgeable, she knew just when to ignore my pup’s barking and when to tune in and handle.

I was amazed at how quickly we learned to do things. Every single day we left with new useful commands. And she kept it fun. We had a range of fur all sizes personalities and problems and through the course, we all saw our dogs (and us owners) evolve into better bonded, more comfortable and confident pets and partners. Plus, she has helpful relatable personal stories of her own, pre-trainer experiences with her dog as well as her time working with actual wolves in a reserve. As a result she has great insight into why dogs do what they do and how they’ll respond when we do what we do.

I recommend Sarah 100x for anyone who wants confidence in their role as fur momma. It’s better for your pup and better for you!

Somewhat disappointed with the fact that several times I have gone to PetSmart stores and they do not have the food I need, in stock. I need a special, prescribed food for my dog so I can't just go to any store and pick it up. I'm not sure if the blame is on the Science Diet representative or the store and their ordering policies. I have decided on line shopping is the way to go to purchase my pets food. Sorry PetSmart.

I really like any place that let's me bring my dog. There are so few places that allow dogs that I feel that I must support them.

Nice store. Tried adopting a cat from there and unfortunately they make you fill out an application and then the shelter makes the determination as to wether or not you are worthy to own the animal. So we went to the humane society and got a beautiful loving cat for $25 and took her home same day.

Was nervous bringing my dog to get groomed because she's Super difficult (even the vet has a hard time with her nails) but the groomer, Kenzie, was super sweet and did great with her. Thanks Kenzie!

The store is very well stocked with a huge variety of products, and the staff goes out of its way to be helpful.

Great grooming salon and friendly knowledgeable staff. Don't try and do a walk in on the weekend for nail clippings.

The staff was very helpful and actually I'm fostering a 12 year old diabetic dog that is currently on Hill's prescription diet. The girl at the register helped me with this whole process on changing the prescription into a card. One of my rescue dogs gets to go to the store and walk around it's her little special time and she absolutely loves it. She loves all the smells and browsing up and down all the Isles and of course smelling all the cat products!

It's very friendly place. They offer us help even when we are just watching their pets. We love this be place.
