PetSmart, San Carlos CA

Terrible that you can’t even book an appt for just a nail trim without having to have your pet bathed and groomed at the same time.

PetSmart Doggy Hotel and Doggy Daycare take such amazing care of my baby dog Chapa. She gets so excited she makes a beeline there when she's getting dropped off even though I am a blubbering idiot. They always give me progress reports, send pictures, and just treat her so well. They even wash her toys when I send them with her. I just don't know how to express how appreciative I am to their wonderful staff. I'm very grateful for them and I know Chapa is too.

Pet Smart has just about anything you could need for your pet. I appreciate the wide variety of cat food available, more than a lot of the other pet food stores

Love that place, but wish they had more people assisting buyers (sometimes it's a real quest to find somebody)

Never shop at pet smart if you have ever seen pet smart scandals. I got a set of guinea pigs from a rescue and bought a $40 cage for the that was the size of a laptop. When I bought the cage at the rescue I got one the size of a 50 inch TV which is way better for them. The picture is of a the main supply house and they have killed animals in grooming sessions

I really enjoy the service with this PetSmart. I got my Green Cheek Conure here, they let me know what to get and any suggestions. Although I dont agree with some of the things such as the food I understands birds can be picky eaters so its sometimes hard to get them to try other foods. Now whenever i come here they always ask how Nugget (the bird) is and I really like that they remember who serve. Will come back!

Good selection of cat treats. This location could carry a greater canned cat food selection. They were also out of cat grass when I visited.

Gear service. Did not have what I wanted in store. Even though I checked on line and was told yes before I went in. However, the customer service staff helped me find an alternative product

Friendly and helpful staff. I was able to get a walk I'm grooming for my pug on a Saturday morning (hard to find in the Bay area).

This one in San Carlos is the bomb! It has everything in one place; a pet hospital, groomer, motel, and everything your pet would need. I'm definitely going to be in often!

This place makes it seem like a criminal offense to buy a pet.

I came to buy a pet and told the lady I needed it for my little sister

We go over the details on the color and the one I want and I again tell her the reason I want it

She brings the contract out and says “ARE YOU SURE THIS ISNT FOR FEEDING SNAKES? ”

Basically calling me a liar. Who do you think you are lady?

Very nice staff members easy to book hotel stay for my pet I tried other around my area and they changed the price over and over in less than an hour this was very straight forward.

For a person who is the first time dad of two kittens, this place made it so much easier to find everything that we needed for the kittens. The staff is friendly and the place is affordable. Also, if you have any generic questions about what your pet may or may not like, you can always ask the staff.they are really resourceful and are always happy to help!:)

Great place to shop and safe place to bring your pets. Friendly staff make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Take my kids here to look around. Stay until they start begging more than the dogs. Lots of selection.

Sarah is phenomenal! My two shih tzu's Chewbaca and BeBe have been going to her for years. Sarah does an excellent Teddy bear cut! She makes our fur babies absolutely adorable. Thanks Sarah!

The staff up front is nice but the people running the doggie daycare seem to be another story. They constantly are spraying the dogs with water for doing normal dog things. Such as playing with each other. It seemed to be a little unnecessary. I definitely wouldn't bring my dog there.

Full of barking dogs, one uncontrolled aggressive one amongst them. Hard to maneuver without getting slobbered.

Lots of great parking, large selection and helpful staff. This location also has a Banfield veterinarian, grooming, and pet training section. They often also have pet adoptions which is a great way to get pets into good homes.

I've seen some bad Pet Smarts before. This is not one of them. That said, it's a Pet Smart - not a fancy place, but great prices.
