PetSmart, Santa Rosa CA

+ Food: 0/10 - specialty cat or dog food limited to 2 brands, both expensive and hated by my pets. Try Purina brand health foods. Much cheaper, no need for a prescription, and just as good in the long run. Regular food is difficult to navigate since there are too many options of basically the same product. Try elsewhere online or at a grocery store, it's better in every way.

+ Supplies: 0/10 - collars, litter boxes, and everything else is way too much. My cat loses his collar every other week, and 4 packs on Amazon cost what ONE will cost here. Don't even bother with litter supplies here.

+ Staff: 0/10 - I'd have loved to order pet food through them, but that wasn't suggested by anyone we asked. I don't blame the workers, they appeared quite busy, but the management should be ashamed. Well run stores are run with respect for the customer, and usually that means a manager or opener is at the front to help. Nope.

+ Design: 0/10 - it looks like a warehouse, but has boutique prices. I hope to never set foot in another one of these stores ever again.

Young employees sometimes ignore the clients, but older ones are very helpful and the location is clean

Strict adherence to both wearing masks and social distancing while maintaining professional and friendly service. I have only good things to say a out my visit.

My order was ready promptly.

Employees greeted me and pointed out where the supplies I needed were. I was in and out in 15 minutes! Everyone wearing masks. Hand sanitizer stations all over the place!

Long time customer every 3 weeks to groom my dogs nails, and other needs. I can understand COVID 19 limitations, but NOT doing nail cuts is ridiculous. Nor will I ever support this business again for trying to force customers into a full package with a bath to get the one service they need. Taking my business else where.

I recently awoke to find my oldest angel fish dead. I took some water in to be tested and the lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and able to explain to me exactly what to do to fix the problem. When I bought the wrong filters and had to bring them back, she was able to direct me to the correct ones. This all happened during the pandemic and social distancing when customer service has all but vanished. I appreciate her help in saving the rest of my fish.

They are great people and always helpful. I needed to exchange a crate for a bigger size and unfortunately I lost the box to the old one but they still let me exchange it. I also had a guy stand with me for a few minutes to see if he could help me find a place that sold a specific shampoo they didn't have that I needed.

Never bringing my dogs here again! 3 times in a row, my dogs coat has been left a total mess. It’s way too short and on top of not doing what I asked for, they can’t cut his coat evenly. It’s all choppy it looks ridiculous! For what they charge, I would expect at least a proper cleaning but can’t even get that!

This store is always well stocked and the staff are very helpful. My puppy needs the lamb and rice science diet formula for large breed puppies. This is the only place I've found between Healdsburg and Rohnert Park that carries it.

The selection of toys is also great. They even have the rougher tougher ones for hard core chewers.

They also have a fairly decently stocked fish area. When I've needed new filters they always seem to have them.

Awesome pet store franchise. Pets from snakes to Ginnie pigs to rats.rats to feed to the snake. Even pihrona. Great place to get those really good delacasies like deer and elk horn for your best friend

Great store. Excellent selection of natural food and alternative litters. We get the wheat clumping litter

Frustrating. I was ignored. Asked for help. They helped everyone else first. I put my stuff down. I ll never go back.

Another place to go get pet supplies. I try not to shop here too often, as I like to support local businesses as much as possible. They do have a helpful staff, and have a great selection. There is plenty of parking at this location, and the store is very clean. They even allow dogs in the store to go shopping.

About as exciting as any PetSmart I’ve been to. I go there for items I need and have to navigate past people with dogs chatting with other people with dogs blocking the aisles.

Great store. Very clean and well stocked. Lots of good sales. Great variety of products and services. Loved the dog sector and all of toys and clothes. Huge variety of food options. Some of the brands are a bit expensive and not that good of choice. They got a bit of everything for all sortof animals. Birds and cats to fish.

I do not shop at PetSmart. Too many inferior products and higher pricing. The feed store is a better source for food for pets and wild birds.

One of the best stores around. Bring your pet inside with you and they will get to help you get the things they like most. In my case it is everything

It's a very nice place to buy pet foods from and maybe some pets but another man that Pet Foods & Pet Supplies

I actually took my dog to Banfield Hospital which is inside Pet Smart. They are an awesome place to see a vet.
