Philz Coffee, Los Angeles CA

The donut was a little oily, but had good texture and flavor. The coffee I ordered sounded good on the menu, but ended up tasting like caraway seeds. Bummer.

Philz cafe feels and tastes like home to me. Employees are amazing, always take the time to see how my day is going, make sure the WiFi is working, make my drink extra instagrammable.

Personal favorites: Lavender Tea Latte and the Kimchi Avocado Toast

Red Maple is exactly the type of place I love to frequent and this picture is exactly the reason. This is Jim one of the owners and he hand delivered our order which just so happened to be in the middle of Griffith Park haha. Food is always wonderful and would definitely recommend.

Lavendar latte is da bomb. Their coffee art game is always on point too. Computer friendly place to work.

I was super full. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I liked.

The Tartine county loaf is better than Poilane's in Paris. Just did a side by side taste with the family, bread-lovers all, agree by unanimous decision.

Amazingly delicious food; have been here twice and have been very impressed by the bread, pastries, sandwiches etc. Excellent and friendly service as well.

Amazing coffee selection, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pricey ($4.60 for a large), but this is my go-to when I want to treat myself to a REAL cup of coffee:)

You order your coffee down at one end and then you pay for it at the register (instead of paying for it and then picking it up). It was confusing for me and I did it wrong! I missed the signs or something. I had a chai tea and it was well made. I recommend trying this place if your are looking for something different!

Best avocado egg toast I ever had. Philz Bagel was delicious too. Philtered Soul coffee was to die for. Not a bad thing to say about this place.

Great staff and some of the best coffee. I came from the San Diego area and their mocha is one of the best. They really care about taste.

I've been a longtime Philz since I lived in the Bay Area. This particular Philz is right around the corner from my apartment and is a must stop on my way in to work.

These guys have made a ton of early mornings 100x easier with their smiling faces and AMAZING coffee.

My go-to is an Iced Hazelnut, sweet and creamy. It's not on the menu but it's DELICIOUS and, from what I've been told, the most caffeinated bean they have!

This coffee shop is located right under the CNN building once in while I'll see a familiar face but the coffee is great an the ambiance lax out side the building CNN have about three big flat screen T. V with cement benches facing the screen CNN program running 24-7.

Great place to get some work done. Go for the Philharmonic or if you want something sweet then the Mint Mojito is a must try.
