Buyer beware! Bought a go kart for my son for Christmas. I should have know there would be major issues when I had to call and ask for a new battery and fuel pump after one time of riding the go kart. Now my son has ridden his Christmas present 6 time and I have spent over $500 in repairs, go kart is still not working. Called customer service is a joke. "Sorry, you warranty is up"!
Read all the negative reviews about this company and be smarter than I and heed their advice, but ELSEWHERE!

Garbage company, they are a complete scam, tons and tons of hidden costs and horrible service, I would rather burn my money than give it to them.

Terrible. Please do not buy from this place. If you need replacement parts it take about a month to get them. The bike I have order only had about 500 miles and is broke to this day. Buy from a different company.

I bought a 250 4 wheeler. Worked 1 day and broke.it won't run and they agreed to put it in the shop and pay the bill. Now they refuse and they said they never said this. I've been dealing with a broke 4 wheeler for months. I would never, ever, ever purchase anything from this company. And I don't recommend them. Please buy from somewhere else.
Steer clear of this company. They are liars

Literally have no idea why everyone writes such bad reviews. YOU ARE BUYING A CHINESE DIRT BIKE OR ATV, it is not powersportsmax that produce the bikes! But otherwise, when u buy parts and other stuff the quality is A1. AND, when u buy a chinese bike and there is something wrong with it after use then just get the parts you need, And fix it. I have a SSR 110 and every chinese part that broke, i replaced it with an American X-PRO parts! 10/10 for me.

I would give 0 stars if i could. Due to a manufacture defect my son's front tierod striped the bolt, cauter pin and washer out and the entire tire came off. Causing him to flip his atv. Now they refuse to fix anything because they were able to twiddle their thumbs on sending us parts for previous breaks causing us to be out of warrenty. This atv has been nothing but junk! Save your money and RUN AWAY!

Bought a go kart from PowerSportsMax and it was supposed to be electric. Got the gas model instead. Tried to return it to no avail. Supposed to get gloves & a helmut. Nope. This is the worst place to do business with. Won't return calls or emails. This place needs to be shut down. There should be a class action lawsuit against this company. I will never do business with these guys again.

I purchased a new 50cc dirt bike for my sins birthday that won't run. I sent an email and no response. Every time I call I get the "we're experiencing a high volume" message and my call will be answered in 10 minutes. After 2 minutes I get disconnected. It's like it's programmed because it hang up at the same time point every time I call. Now my son has a shiny new dirt bike that he cant ride.thanks a lot!

I purchased a 50cc taotao scooter online for local pickup. The price was great. I was getting a little worried when I saw all the reviews after I purchased that I may not get a good scooter. I thought it was going to be ready fast and wasn't getting a notification about it. So since I'm local, I stopped in and said I want to pick it up and they said maybe tomorrow or Monday, since it was a Thursday. I said that's not acceptable to me. The sales guy Skyler starting looking everything up and verified when my scooter was going to be at the warehouse and put in the effort to get it to me that day. I really appreciate Skyler working to help me get it because that was my only day off. The got me the scooter, whoa! The box was bigger that I thought for a 50cc but thank God it fit in my Prius with the seats down. I brought it home. It was in perfect shape and started right away when I set it up. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy again. Thanks Skyler for your help. This is an honest review, I legit bought it here. I do have to say it was hard getting a hold of them on the phone. The Hispanic girl on the phones literally is making calls all day. Her job sucks. I think she is just sick of getting yelled at, at this point. I saw her just making calls over and over while I was there. They only have one receptionist and she has to make a lot of outbound calls all day. I agree they need to answer more calls though. So yes, power sports max is legit, I saw the warehouse. They walked me back there. They have a lot of stock on hand, some they have to order. The guy who used a forklift to put my scooter in my Prius was very nice as well. I wanted to give a good review because I got a good product. I'm not paid or a staff member. I promise.update 4/3/18 - My scooter is still running like a champ. I had to get it tuned up one time but otherwise it's been great. I would buy another scooter here again.

I live in New York State and Ordered a Tao Tao 50cc basic moped in silver in mid summer 2016. It arrived roughly 2 weeks after which wasn't to bad considering it had to go across the entire country. Shipping was 200$ which I guess is decent and the moped itself was 470.00$ so all together it ended up being almost 700$ total. The guy just dropped it off in a metal crate outside my apartment but was very kind. Thank god for Youtube tutorials because the instructional dvd on how to set up the moped was in Chinese and didn't work in 4 different dvd players I tried. It comes with the front wheel and steering components disassembled, the mirrors are off, the reflectors, lights, and most cosmetics also need to be assembled as well. I could have payed an extra 180$ for them to send it assembled but considering that is over a quarter of the price total I just thought I would do it the hard way. Overall it didnt take to long and I am retarded when it comes to mechanics. So if I can do it i think anyone can. So though it is a pain in the a**, if you have Youtube and a couple hours to spare, to save some money I personally would recommend ordering it "80%" together to save some cash. The only other negative I saw was that it was delivered with a few large gashes / scratches. I called the company and they told me to email them with pictures of the damage. I am assuming it got damaged through the shipping process because it was ordered brand new. Once I emailed them the pictures, a few days later they emailed me back and reimbursed my card 10$. Now i wasn't expecting a huge amount back but the gashes were really bad and I felt 10 bucks back was kind of a f*** you. I guess at least its something. Other than the cosmetics after I got it together, registered, insured etc it ran great! I'll tell ya those 50cc get great gas mileage and they are really fun to ride around the city. Living in a small city in New York it was perfect for commuting and even though it said its top speed was 30, I could get it to go up to almost 50 mph, which i thought was awesome. Another good thing about these mopeds is that they retain their value.last summer (8-2017) I sold it for 500$. So I got a good 14 months out of it and got almost all my investment back. I wanted to keep it but now i want to upgrade to a 150cc one (class A). You also dont need a special license and insurance is dirt cheap (I payed 100$ a year for full coverage). The 150cc ones you need a class M license for (motorcycle) and the insurance is a little more but in my opinion still worth it and great on gas. So in conclusion I would recommend getting a moped 100%. As far as this company goes I would say they have a few changes to make but could be worse. Definitely worth it and you get what you pay for. Hope this helps.pc

I see a lot of negative reviews but my experience has been pretty good. My brother, my buddy, and I ordered 3 125CC Apollo DB99 pit bikes a few years ago and they still run fine. Some bolts got loose and some snapped but a quick trip to the hardware store made them better than new. Just make sure you check every bolt every now and again which you should do even with a name brand. We change the oil with full synthetic Mobil 1 4 stroke racing oil and we change the spark plug every ten hours of riding and have no issues. The cables and brake/clutch handles are weak so you will be replacing those but the actual bikes themselves are solid, I'm 165 pounds and I ride it like a bat outta hell doing jumps and everything, thing goes 49mph. My brother uses rescue pegs on his and his girl rides with him sometimes, he still goes 49mph lol. They're actually pretty tough. Plenty of power for hill climbs too. If you have any issues with idle or bogging just clean/replace the air filter or put an air filter cover on, these things shoot mud and dirt right onto the air filter. We have over 100 hours into them and they are running strong. They aren't perfect but for the cash they're pretty great. I'm considering ordering an ATV. We had to order a new gas cap and they sent it to us before we even paid, pretty good customer service. My questions are always answered pretty quickly too. Remember, these aren't Honda's, no need to blame the people selling them for not being as good as a name brand.

To the people saying the 5 star reviews are fake, get your head out of your ass. The world doesn't revolve around you and not everyone has issues just because you do. I could go and say your 1 star review is from their competition but I'm not going to act like a child.

If I could rate them a 0, I would. And I'm pretty generous when it comes to reviewing businesses. My husband and I wanted to surprise our son by purchasing a pit bike. He rides a Yamaha YZ 125 but wanted something to "run around in" near our home. Because he made the Principal''s List for grades most of this school year, we decided to get it. We purchased the bike through Powersportsmax and the order confirmation indicated that the transaction went through. The following day, I received an email that they needed further action from me because they didn't ship to Hawaii. According to THEIR website, they DID! When I mentioned that in my email, I got attitude. They simply said, "We don't ship to Hawaii. " No explanation, no apology. I had to choose a state within the continental US to ship the item to. Seriously? Like that makes sense. Who would I have shipped it to? After a day of discussing our options, my husband and I decided to use Ship to Hawaii to get the bike home. The process just to get it to Ship to Hawaii (because of Powersportsmax) took OVER A WEEK because of the paperwork and several times I tried to get through via phone with no answer on the other end. There was one person who emailed me and she was eventually helpful but it still took too long. Once it got to Ship to Hawaii, someone from there sent me pictures of the box and it was completely DAMAGED. Luckily for Powersportsmax, the bike was ok according to the staff at Ship to Hawaii. They were able to re-tape it and secure the bike for a small extra fee. THEIR customer service and staff were on it. Thank God. The bike is finally on its way. I will NEVER do business with Powersportsmax ever again. I don't recommend them to anyone.
