Californian Restaurant Prado reviews
25As always, The Prado was fabulous. Food is delicious, and they certainly have safety in mind. Our waiter was Beto. He was such a nice guy and very informative. He made sure we had plenty of iced tea and came by to check on us about three or four times. He also chatted a bit when it was obvious we were up for that. And, the way he described the mahi mahi tacos was just mouth-watering. We love The Prado.
One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego! Staff is amazing, food is delicious and the atmosphere is incredible!
One of our two go-to restaurants, for out of town guest, special occasions, and even our wedding! Two nights ago we did the former and appreciated the non-invasive safety measures and always unparalleled care and attention to detail, not to mention the awesome food! Justin was our guy again (last two times!) ; he exemplifies high standards of the @cohnrestuarantgroup! #crg #prado #balboapark
One of my favorite locations for delicious Californian food. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste.
Good service but the food was not up to par. They did redo the dish and was better the second time. Dessert was great.
A great restaurant to visit during quarantine! Outdoor dining heaters to keep us warm, excellent service, the food is good. A pleasant experience over all
Great quick foods in the bar area. The El Prado flatbread is on point and very filling. The Mahi Mahi Tacos aren't your regular fish tacos, full and filling as well. Great environment, the servers were quick and accurate. Highly recommended.
Always love the Prado, the food is very good and drinks are fantastic! A must visit when you go to Balboa Park
Beautiful restaurant conveniently located in the center of Balboa Park. Service was scattershot - we received the appetizers after the main lunch courses - but the food was very good.
Had a nice meal here with 5 others. Enjoyed the black bean soup and the burgers. The desserts were great two and they have a solid drink selection. It is a little expensive for what it is but then again you’re in the middle of the park. Overall I give it a solid 4 out of 5.
Always a great place to eat. When you sit in the bar area you get a basket of freaky made hummus and unique crackers. Great service.
Very classy and relaxing, Very romantic or family friendly place.the service was very slow But over all the place is great.
Eat in the garden, make a reservation. Free parking with a 5 min walk to the prado. If you need to ask don't go. Oh and Byron doesn't seem to like anyone, look at his reviews, maybe that's the problem. You were being served by gay employees, open your eyes. Any restaurant would welcome 15 patrons unless they were not being treated nicely.
The calamari fries were so amazing that I honestly forgot about the rest of the food I got! It was that good.
Was extremely busy, was extremely overpriced. The manager save the day with her service otherwise no one would have waited on my son and I. I suppose they Corner the market because you're the only restaurant in where the museums are. The food was okay. I suppose on a slower day it would be a nice venue.
Waited over an hour for lunch while the restaurant was barely at half capacity. The fish tacos were the blandest I’ve ever had.
Just okay. The atmosphere is great, but the food is just good, not great. Your water stays full no matter how much you drink. Getting a beer can be a challenge. The wine served with the date night deal was okay, and I was happy to be able to sniff the screwtop before accepting the bottle. The public bathrooms we're clean enough for the guy next to me to drink from
I'm here every night locking tables up it's where guests can eat and enjoy their day with all the many Museums around them
Average at best. Sit outside for the views to make the trip even worth it. Food is nothing spectacular.
