Even though it rained and we were on the patio, it was beautiful. The salad with pomegranates and Hazelnuts was amazing. The gingerbread cake with the walnut crumble and vanilla ice cream ditto. If you are looking for gourmet cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere with great service, book a table at The Prado.

Food was very good, beef short ribs and scallops were really good! And the salad (seasonal farmer's mixed salad with pomegranate seeds) was exceptional! Service was on top as well.

Great food and drinks, we stopped in for happy hour 4-6 and it was a nice break after walking through Balboa park.

Restaurant located in Balboa Park, located in the El Prado historical building. Food is excelent, the decor is very interesting.

Horrible food and service. From the start it was bad. We had to ask someone to get us a waiter, waited for a long time before someone even said hi to us after being seated. After we finally ordered and got the food, the waiter was non-exist and extremely hard to find. Plus the food was so bad. I ordered a Caesar salad, and I got whole romaine leaves stacked on top of each other coated in some type of cheese? Not parmesan. I've never had a salad where the lettuce wasn't even cut? I had to use a knife! Additionally because the lettuce was wet, the dressing slid right off, there was nothing to taste. I waited 45 minutes for that, absolutely terrible.
