I had the pleasure of working with Jake, Monique, and Donegan throughout the whole process of finding a space to lease for my business. I can’t say enough about how professional they were and how easy it was to communicate with them. Once I’m ready to add another creative office space in DTLA, I know who I’m calling!

Our agent was polite, but knew almost nothing about the space being rented, could not answer simple questions, and did not follow up with the information later. He clearly was not interested.

The office manager for dtla real estate who set up the lease was terse and rude, refusing to answer very basic and important questions about the lease terms, and that negligence and lack of care resulted in my showing up to sign the lease with a cashier's check double the amount it was supposed to be. Additionally, as soon as all of the spaces got lease out the building quickly fell into disrepair. Overall a negative experience with a consistent lack of competence, professionalism, or customer service.

For many of the spaces they are renting you will get a cheaper deal by going directly to the leasing office of the building instead of paying commission to a realtor that isn't putting in much effort.

I set up a schedule with Monique to meet with Jake and see a few of their properties they had listed. I was surprised to hear that Jake also lives in downtown and knows the areas we were in very well. He was very responsive to all my questions I didn’t think of during our tours and I can’t thank their team enough for getting me into a great live/ work place!

There is a "dark" side to Donegan. Like a snake, he slithers his way to protect himself, and leaves everyone else out to dry. Commission over your best interest - that's his business motto.
