Red Chillies The Malabar Cuisine reviews
30One stop shop for Kerala food in San Francisco area. Lunch Buffet costs approximately 16$. Traditional Kerala Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options available. Can almost seat 50. Reach by 11: 40 a.m. To avoid the rush over the weekends. Two restrooms seen.
Really good food and the porata and beef roast were the best. Indian food. A Must visit restaurant in bay area.
Awesome food.especially the beef chilly
Also loved the fish curry.can't remember the name.
The chicken curry was good but not as amazing as the other two I already mentioned above.
The place for authentic Kerala cuisine in the bay area! Really good buffet, the quality of food is surprisingly excellent! Staff are quite friendly. Expect long wait times in the weekend though.
Home style food. I loved the appams and paratas. The food order arrived in no time but any service request after that took too long. It would help to have an slef-serve water tap.
Authentic malayali food. Must try porotta and beef fry. Also must try appam and fish curry. Actually everything here is a must try.
The food is below quality and the prices are very high. The fish curry was terrible in taste and I’m hoping it was not gone bad. The service is very very slow. Will not recommend to anyone.
Awful experience. Multiple items we wanted from the menu were unavailable! That's not even why I'm giving them 1 star: the lady taking the order had terrible manners, cut us off multiple times, and walked away while we were saying we're ready to put in the entree order. The portions were too small, and the fried rice was basically rice + vegetables + a ton of black pepper (no flavor whatsoever).
Save your time and money and go to Sakoon!
Great little restaurant in Milpitas serving authentic Kerala food. We came in on a Thursday and it was fairly quiet. We had Puttu, Idiappam and Appams with Kadla curry and aruchu curry. Great service and ambience. Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to eat authentic South Indian food from the state of Kerala.
Was very disappointed with the items we ordered for lunch. Chapati, chicken peralal, and the starters, Travancore chicken fry and fish cutlet. Except for the peralal none of the items were good. From a malayali restaurant we expected a malayali prep of cutlet. It was not. The chicken fry was below average. The chapati was the frozen one (the Rotiland type) heated. That made me really annoyed. Won't recommend this restaurant.
