REI, Santa Rosa CA

Very disappointed. Took a long time to find someone to help us and then they knew nothing about the product. After about a half hour wasted, we then discovered they were out of stock on the item.

Love REI. Quality of products& they were having a sale on shoes I wanted. Store had lots of space to walk in, made sure everyone was wearing masks, etc. Felt safe there.looked at bike helmets& found a really safe helmet, state of the art, for under $100. I don't like to shop, but I do ar REI.sales people are really helpful too.

The associates there were very polite, my cousin did not have a mask and they greatly offered him one. Greta service

The santa rosa REI staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgable about great outdoor gear! The vibe to the store is awesome as well! I've been shopping there for a while now and love it! I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't already!

As in most REIs, the staff is friendly and attentive. I was, however, misled regarding a product I intended to purchase. I am currently riding a road bike but intend to buy a mountain bike soon so I asked if the visor on the helmet I planned to purchase (Smith Venture) was removable and capable of being put back on to accommodate both activities. The bike guy assured me that it was designed to be removed and that it would pop in and out so when I decided to mountain bike, I could put the visor back on to the helmet. Popped it off very carefully and the piece holding the visor to my helmet immediately broke. Does not seem like it was manufactured to the specs the employee told me it would be. All the other staff was friendly but I would suggest researching stuff online before trusting the bike dude.

Amazing customer service. My solar panel went on sale between the time I ordered it and the time I picked it up. They were not able to adjust the price because I was using paypal. So they cancelled the purchase, re-rang at the sale price AND THEN gave me another discount to make up for the loss of the 6 month financing from Paypal because I came from out of town to pick up.

REI has many products I like. Bike stuff, camping stuff, river stuff.so much stuff. Great return policy allows me to try something out with no risk. Also fun to check out the clearance sale items.

Great products, great service. You can't beat them for quality stuff but will pay a price. We'll worth it in my opinion. Kudos to the bike shop for above and beyond help on a problem I had with a bike.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices can be steep but quality is great and they have a stellar return policy.

Always friendly, someone always available to assist. Last week I was in another sports related store and I actually called them on my cell phone for help. REI has always plenty to assist and plenty cashier's! I belong.

Very basic Mexican place with fabulous food in a very informal setting. We eat there very often.

I've been a member for the last 14 years and I love it. Best outdoor gear, best customer service, best return policy. But... It is pricey and I don't mind it at all.

Walked in, got kind help right away, found the exact item at the rei.com advertised price right away. In 2018 this is a refreshingly good retail experience.

LOVE REI. PERIOD! Great store with a lifetime membership as a co-op. Very cool. Picked up a pair of hiking shoes for my girlfriend.nice selection. Get outside!

The employees are great, but REI needs to stop using the Pack animals I Havisupia falls, the Indians starve and torture the Pack animal's REI Stop facilitating the pack animals to carry gear down for your clients use the helicopter or pack it down yourself stop using the pack animals what these animals go through is egregious open wounds exposed backbone

I love REI as the store but I’ve never written a review.this store in particular stood out to me because of a employee named Mark was super helpful we’re new to the area and told us of some good hiking spots got me to become a member and hooked it up with some discounts Mark had great customer service and just wanted to thank him by writing a review.
