Reliant Urgent Care - Montebello

One of the front desk and one guy nurse are so nice and made me feel welcomed. First time being here.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. I made my appointment through the website 2 hours prior to my visit. Checking in was super easy and fast. I took my covid test at 6pm and had the results within 30 minutes. Staff was super nice and helpful.

Quick tip for some people, it’s very common to go to the doctors first thing in the morning.but that’s when everyone is trying to be seen, mainly people with an old school mentality.try going in the evening. Worked for me.

This urgent care was very clean and people were friendly. However, I did not know my rapid COVID test would cost $175 until I arrived and checked in. I had filled out and submitted all my insurance information prior to arrival. I would have appreciated a simple disclaimer upon registering that there may be a fee. I would have then called Reliant to clarify before arriving. I would still recommend this place, I would just call ahead to determine any fees involved.

All staff were friendly. The online process made it quick and easy during check in cause I didn’t need to fill out any paperwork. Only thing is I booked for a rapid test which gives you results in an hour but informed me that my results will take 48 hrs. A bit inconvenient cause the point of me making the appointment there was for the rapid test.

Why do they have to take sooo long even when we have an appointment?
Literally there's no line or any ones outside the test take like 1 minutes to do.

Wost place to get covid tested, it took me almost 8 hours to get tested. I wish I could rate this place with cero stars.

Took me and my hubby 9 1/2 hrs to finally be accommodated for covid testing. Prioritizing people with appointments is reasonable and understandable, but i don't think calling in someone who waited in line since 9: 30am by their closing time is right. One girl staff asked walk-ins to connect the line from the last person from the 'appointment' group. Saying we either connect the line or leave. She gathered everyone trying to get covid test in one room risking people's health (some people are obviously sick from the way they cough and sneeze). Not a very good service for a lot of people that day- hopefully just that day.

This office is a scam to get Worker's Comp payments. Do NOT go here! It was the worst experience of my life. Gevork Geshgian is the rudest, most unprofessional "doctor" I've ever encountered in my life. He is a DO, but I wouldn't call him a doctor because doctors are professional and compassionate. He is the opposite. He contradicted the other real MDs we saw and when I questioned him, had the nerve to call me rude and tell me to get out! I have worked in healthcare for 20 years and I've never experienced his level of dismissive, disregard for the patient. I have had plenty of actual rude people come in to my practice and I have never once told them that they were rude. I was not actually being rude, just asking questions and he became irritated, insulting and beyond rude. Also waited about 3 hours before being seen; longer wait time than I've ever encountered, even at the Emergency Department. To top it off, several staff took lunch at the same time in the back room adjacent to the waiting room. No door; red haired lady cackled hysterically the entire time and everyone else joking and laughing at the top of their lungs while all the patients sit in pain waiting. Why can't they at least stagger the lunches or something. Get an actual break room. No patients were called in for over an hour. Ridiculous, unprofessional, understaffed, poor customer service and the doctors work against rather than for the patients. It is horrible. I asked for a complaint form and they said they do not have any! I would give zero stars if I could and I will definitely never step a foot in there again. They do have one excellent worker who was cool, compassionate and efficient. He was either a nurse or medical assistant because he called us back to the room and talked to us before the "doctor" came in. He did a more thorough check than the "doctor". Unfortunately, I did not get his name but I'm sure everyone at that office knows who he is because he is the only good one there.

This place was awesome in and out in an hour super nice clean and professional and got all I needed done.thanks alot you guys you really saved me. And they took my insurance.

Be prepared to wait 1hr and 30min plus, with no warning as to how long you will take. It felt like there was one doctor and people were being seen once every 30min.

As of the writing of this post I have not been seen by a doctor so I can not comment on the doctors service. If you’re asking why I am still waiting, I’ve asked myself that question. Hope keeps me here. The hope that I will be treated for my illnesses.

*UPDATE*: After 2hrs and 50min I was finally let into a room, was seen by the nurse to take my vitals. Although the nurse did try his hardest to lighten the mood, there was no getting over the fact that I have been waiting for almost 3hrs.

Was seen by the doctor for about 5min gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my marry way. All in all was at this Urgent care for 3hrs and 20min.

4 hour pre employment screening

None of the staff cared and almost all of them were very unprofessional. The only reason it finally finished was because one of the staff took pitty on me and did his job without being told.

The receptionists would just whisper about people and not answer questions.

Dr. Amos Ladoucer was somehow the worst there. I enjoyed sitting in the room next to his office listening to him loudly discuss a mortgage deal on the phone for 45 minutes. Genuinely 45 minutes he was on the phone discussing a home deal with what I presume was his business partner, and then came in and hardly did an assessment and left again.

This is the place that staff go when they can't get a job anywhere else. Shameful and unprofessional, please do not go here if you have a choice.

First time there. Had a burn that got infected they were very professional and gave me some antibiotics and medicine to apply on my burn. I would recommend this place if u really need a doctor. Like me I needed someone on a sunday at 4pm

I have read the reviews and came to the conclusion some people have nothing better to do than complain. Wait time? Of course there’s always a wait time, the front office was nice enough to let me know there were a couple of patients in front of me. (waited 30 mins) before called for vitals and be put in a room. Place is spotless clean, the MA was very nice. My Hx was taken in the room so there was no HIPAA violation what so ever.
Have in mind I’m walking to UC on a Sunday afternoon.
Now, I’m sitting in the room waiting for the Dr.he came in, he was very nice, examine, wrote a Rx and I was on my way.
The whole visit took approximately about 1 hour.
People, you go to a fast food place wait in line and you have to triple check the order cause 99% of the time is wrong.
Medicine is not like going to the store and pick up tomatoes every case is different be patient, if you are not.pay a private doctor. This is just my opinion.

While the wait is long, One is seen by competent medical physician assistant. I have always received appropriate medical treatment.

Great Staff but the provider/Doctor told me I don’t know figure it out I kept asking questions and got no answers

Great staff, and assistance but the Doctor will only refer you to the emergency room so might as well skip this place and go straight to the emergency.

Very bad service the 2nd time I went in the it was fast the only problem was no restroom for patient the 2nd time I waited over a 1hr 1/2 b4 called in to a room one of the reception did even do the sign right and when I got my meds come to find out it's the same thing prescribed for my ear infection

First of all, I have no idea who took this pictures above, but that definitely is NOT the Montebello location. I came here for an employment physical and I’m not going to complain about the wait time because I came prepared for a long wait. But I will complain about how unprofessional the staff is. Beginning with the front office and having a patient explain in detail why she is coming in. She had an accident at work. Me being another patient in the waiting room shouldn’t have to know that. Second, I’m taken back to do my urine test. Why the hell is the MA touching my specimen without gloves? ! Third, he drew my blood, without gloves. His nails are grossly long. Came to battle unprepared. He was scattering everywhere for an alcohol wipe. Drew my blood and didn’t even have a cotton ball or tape ready to stop the bleeding. We went to do my vision test, and left documents with my name, address and social visible for other patients that were walking the hall. I’m waiting for the doctor in the room as I write this, so I haven’t even seen the Dr.yet. Just don’t come here!

The wait was reasonable, and the staff are caring and friendly. The NP was very knowledgeable and tended to my needs. The nurse that did the injection was so good, you dont even feel it. Outstanding place.

This is not an urgent care. They cannot help you in any way other than to point you to the ER. If i could give them negative stars, I would. Don't waste your time.
